FASTING DID NOT GIVE YOU ULCER
Many people run from fasting the moment they have ulcer.
“Doctor, I can’t fast o… I have ulcer.”
That’s what they say.
But here’s the truth:
Fasting is not your problem.
The way you fast and especially the way you break your fast is what is killing your stomach.
Let’s get this straight.
Ulcer is simply a wound in your stomach or intestine.
Most times it comes from a bacteria called H. pylori, painkillers, alcohol, or a poor lifestyle.
Now your stomach naturally produces acid every day.
If there’s a wound inside, the acid burns it.
That’s why you feel pain, especially on an empty stomach.
And this is where fasting gets a bad name.
Here’s what actually triggers this burn:
👉🏽 You fast till evening then break with soda, fried food or heavy wraps of swallow at 10 pm.
Of course your ulcer will scream.
Not because of fasting.
But because of what you put inside your body.
Here’s the truth nobody tells you:
Fasting, when done right, can actually help an ulcer patient.
✅ It reduces stomach inflammation.
✅ It helps the gut heal faster.
✅ It resets digestion.
✅ It even improves hormone balance.
The danger is not in fasting.
The danger is in ignorance.
So how do you fast wisely if you have ulcer?
You start by eating light and right after every fast.
— Eat protein meals like eggs, fish, or meat.
— Add vegetables and healthy fats.
— Avoid foods fried in seed oils, alcohol, soda and pastries.
— Don’t stuff yourself with one giant late-night meal after your fast.
Do this, and your ulcer will stop controlling your life.
Fasting did not give you ulcer.
Bad habits did.
So stop spreading lies.
Stop blaming fasting.
Start practicing wisdom.
Your stomach will thank you tomorrow.
Don’t forget to reach out for a diet plan.
And share this with someone who’s afraid to fast because of ulcer.
