Clomid is very popular among women, but what exactly does it do?
Here’s why you should NOT take it without medical guidance.
Let’s discuss 👇🏾
Clomid (clomiphene) is a fertility medication that helps stimulate ovulation in women having trouble conceiving. It works by blocking estrogen receptors in the brain, which triggers the release of hormones that stimulate egg production.
But, yeah, it's not a DIY thing:
- *Ovulation issues*: Clomid is for women with specific ovulation problems. If you ovulate regularly, it's not for you.
- *Multiple pregnancies*: Clomid increases the risk of twins or triplets.
- *Side effects*: Mood swings, hot flashes, and vision changes can happen.
- *Medical guidance*: A doctor should monitor your dosage and response to avoid complications.
