Egungun is a visible manifestation of the spirits of departed ancestors who periodically revisit the human community for remembrance, celebration, and blessings. It is a unique cultural tradition practiced by the Yoruba of West Africa and their descendants in the African Diaspora, particularly in Brazil, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Barbados, and the United States. These spirits constantly bless, protect, warn, and punish their earthly relatives depending on how their relatives neglect or honor them.

The appearance of Egungun in a community is invariably accompanied by pomp and pageantry, drumming and dancing, singing and celebration. The ensuing festival goes on for several days and strengthens the bonds that unite families and communities with departed ancestors. The costumes are constructed of disparate fabrics, both locally woven and industrially manufactured, in addition to metal, beads, leather, bones, and potent empowering materials. Today the fabrics chosen are literally the best that money can buy, and include damask, velvet, silk, Indian madras, and printed cotton. These masquerade performances are often accompanied by the swirling of fabrics and colors, augmented by intricate body movements and carefully orchestrated dance steps. At best, Egungun is both a fanciful parade and a concrete manifestation of the acrobatic displays of spirit in motion.

Oshun is the Yoruban Orisha (deity) of the sweet or fresh waters (as opposed to the salt waters of Yemaya). She is widely loved, as She is known for healing the sick and bringing fertility and prosperity, and She especially watches over the poor and brings them what they need. As Orisha of love, Oshun is represented as a beautiful, charming and coquettish young woman. In some tales She is said to be a mermaid, with a fish’s tail.

The Yoruba clans inhabit parts of western central Africa, in present-day Nigeria. Oshun is the Goddess of the river of the same name, and She is especially worshipped in river-towns. During Her yearly festival, She is said to choose one or more women dancers to descend into (much like participants in Vodou ceremonies may be ‘mounted’ or ‘possessed’ by a lwa). These women then take new names in honor of Oshun and are thereafter consulted as healers.

Oshun was taught divination with cowrie shells by Obatala, the first of the created gods, and then She brought the teaching to humans. She was at one time the wife of Shango, the storm god, as was Oya, the goddess of the winds and tempests. Oshun is also said to be the mother of the birds or fishes.

The Orisha Obatala is central to the creation myth of the ancient Yoruba cultures of West Africa, where he is also manifest in the "white gods" of creativity and justice: Orishanla, Oshala, Oshagiyan, Oshalufon, Orisha Oko, and Osha Funfun. He also provides the moral purpose of the historical king Shango, the Orisha of lightning and thunder. Obatala is said to have descended from heaven on a chain to mould the first humans and indeed to mould every child in the womb, although he is only one aspect of Olodumare, the Almighty God, who alone can breathe life into the creations of Obatala.
A saint among saints and the archetypal spirit of creativity, Obatala has been carried to many cultures of the New World, where for centuries he has been honored as the patron of children, childbirth, albinos, and anyone with a birthmark. In the New World as in the Old it is said, "Obatala marks his children."

In Yoruba Oba means "king" and tala [ala] is undyed fabric, the blank canvas, which is why the King of the White Cloth is said to be a tranquil judge. Obatala is honored with brilliant white cloth, white lace, white beads and cowries, white flowers, silver coins, and silver jewelry. He is honored with white hens, snails, white melon soup, pounded yams, and other white food such as eko, fermented corn wrapped in plantain leaves. His priests and priestesses wear only white, although his warrior avatars Ajaguna & Obamoro add a dash of blood red. Ochosi, the Orisha of the hunt is Obatala's scout and surveyor and guards an inner court of the alter of Obatala in the ancient city of Ile Ife,
"where the world began."
The gentle Obatala is associated with honesty, purpose, purity, peace, the New Year, forgiveness, and resurrection, which is why some authorities associate him with Christ and the Egyptian Osiris. As the divinity of created form, "the old man" is the patron saint of artists, called the Divine Sculptor. He is also called Alamo Re Re, the One Who Turns Blood Into Children. He is Alabalashe, the Wielder of the Scepter of Life, and he is O Ho Ho, the Father of Laughter, "Who sits in the sky like a swarm of bees."

A Praise Song of Obatala

Obatala, strong king of Ejigbo
At the trial a silent, tranquil judge.
The king whose every day becomes a feast.
Owner of the brilliant white cloth.
Owner of the chain to the court of heaven.
He stands behind people who tell the truth.
Protector of the handicapped.
Oshagiyan, warrior with a handsome beard.

He wakes up to create two hundred civilizing customs,
Who holds the staff called opasoro, King of Ifon.
Oshanla grant me white cloth of my own.
He makes things white.
Tall as a granary, tall as a hill.
Ajaguna, deliver me.
The king that leans on a white metal staff.

Voodoo spells for love are common and are among the most potent love spells available today. Voodoo love spells work to bring your ex-lover or lost lover back into your life, heal broken love, or influence another person to develop romantic feelings for you. There is a good chance that you have heard of the influence that spell casters may have on those who draw their abilities from the shadow realm. You may also be aware that when they perform black magic spells to settle love-related concerns, they deliver outcomes that may be unattainable using other love spells.
As a result, spell casters worldwide greatly admire voodoo magic. However, be wary of ideas that portray voodoo spells as being cast to cause damage to other people or carry out inappropriate goals. The truth is that a skilled spell caster like the ones found on Ifátola Orisafunmi Witcher can successfully extricate individuals from a wide range of issues by drawing on their extensive expertise and experience in successfully directing others.
In most situations, voodoo love spells are linked to the noble purpose of fully returning love. If you find yourself embroiled in any of the situations mentioned above, it’s only natural that you would find one of these voodoo love spells helpful. However, keep in mind that the only thing they require of you is a clear head and honest motive. Most importantly, if you’re not sure about the efficacy of voodoo love, it’s best to seek professional advice from expert enchanters. I can't post full video because of privacy 🔐..... ALAAFIA🧿🙏🏻🧿

THE IFA CONCEPT OF CREATION

Cosmology is the study of the· structure of the universe which attempts to discover the principles of unity that sustain Creation. The Cosmology of Ifa is based on the belief that the microcosm (immediate environment) is a reflection of the macrocosm (the universe).1 This means that the forces that created the stars and the galaxies also created the earth, including the plants and animals that evolved on the planet. Because of this continuity, Ifa teaches that every problem faced by humans has an analogous counterpart in every realm of Being. If a scripture frequently describes the problems encountered by animals and plants with the underlying assumption that the human condition encounters the same struggles for survival.2

One of the functions of divination is to identify the ways in which universal forces manifest in everyday life. This is done through the use of myth. Because myth makes use of symbolic material, an understanding of symbols makes it possible for the diviner to relate myth to a given situation. The fundamental cosmological paradigm that Ifa uses to interpret symbols is the belief that manifestation in the Universe is the result of balancing polarities.3

Most systems of metaphysics are based on the belief that the primal polarity that sustains the physical universe is the tension between expansion and contraction.4 In Ifa this polarity is usually described as the relationship between darkness and light. This relationship is not considered a conflict between the forces of "good" and the forces of "evil." The polarity between expansion and contraction is understood to be a fundamental quality of dynamics and form as they exist in Nature.5

Using the divination system of Dafa, expansion or light is represented by a single vertical line (I). In Dafa contraction or darkness is represented by a double vertical line (II). Using the divination systems that make use of cowries, light is represented by the open concave side of the shell and darkness is represented by the convex side of the shell. The convex side curves to form a mound. Usually the mound is removed, exposing a single column down the center. This side of the shell is called the "stomach" or "inu" in Yoruba. The concave side has two lips that curve inward with an opening down the middle. This side of the shell is called the "mouth" or "enu” in Yoruba.6

If a cosmology teaches the principle that light comes from darkness and darkness comes from light. It also teaches that everything that exists is an expression of ase. The Yoruba word ase has multiple meanings. In a cosmological context, ase is the Force that sustains Creation. The primal manifestation of ase would be the invisible Force that creates both light and darkness.7 Physics calls this force electromagnetism. Everything in the material universe generates electromagnetic force fields. Those electromagnetic forces that expand by moving away from their source generate a field of radiation that includes the visible spectrum of light. Those electromagnetic forces that contract by moving towards their source draw light out of the visible spectrum into darkness.8 In Nature, the smallest atom to the largest star contains forces of expansion and contraction in a spherical arena.

The spherical shape of most energy patterns is represented in Ifa divination through the use of a two-dimensional circle in the form of a tray (Opon Ifa). Merindinlogun generally represents the sphere on a mat (ate Orisha). Every sphere is defined by the distance between its poles and its equator. The poles and the equator are determined by placing a horizontal and a vertical line at right angles from the center of the sphere. These lines are drawn in Dafa a by making marks in the iyerosun powder that is placed on the tray. These lines are drawn in Merindinlogun by making marks in the efun powder that is placed on the mat. This results in an image that is a two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional reality:

When these four lines are stacked together in a single vertical column, they become a form of linear notation that is used to represent a specific three-dimensional reality.9 The symbol for light is as follows:

I
I
I
I

Using the same process, the symbolic representation of a sphere of darkness would be a vertical column of four double lines as follows:

II
II
II
II

In addition to poles and equators, every sphere has a center called the nucleus that forms a hidden core within the boundaries of the outer shell. The nucleus of a sphere also forms a sphere at the point where the lines of the poles and the equator cross.

Dafa uses two vertical lines to represent the outer boundary and the inner nucleus of energy patterns that exist in Nature. Using the examples already given, a sphere of light with light at its core would be represented by two columns of single lines. In Ifa divination this symbol is called; "Eji Ogbe" or "Ogbe Meji." It appears as follows:

I I
I I
I I
I I

The patterns are read from right to left. The right side is the visible exterior and the left side is the invisible interior.10 In metaphorical terms the right side is the male side and the left side is the female side. In Ifa, the association between expansion, light and masculine energy and the association between contraction, darkness and feminine energy is related to the expansive and contractive nature of the male and female reproductive organs.11 One is not considered better than the other. The polarities between expansion and contraction; between light and dark; and between male and female are all seen as the dynamic principles that generate diversity within Creation. Witchcraft Love Spells:
If you are looking for a spell that will work fast, you can try using the Wiccan spells. Originally from Africa, the Wiccan spell adopted was initially black and associated with witchcraft. Over time, it has become workable for constructive purposes.

The Wiccan spells were used for purposes of love affairs but are currently highly recommended as they help heal love-related issues and breakups. It is known to be very powerful as it can prohibit your lover from leaving you and going for someone else. I can't post full video because of the privacy 🔐... DM if you're interested....ALAAFIA🙏🏻💖🧿

Egbe Orun: Spirit Companions

The Egbe Orun (Heavenly mate)are spirit companions. Every person enjoys the company of these companions in the heavens before they come to earth. When a person comes from heaven, there are many groups that they may be associated with. One of these groups is called Egbe Emere, which is one of the most powerful groups. A person’s destiny on earth is already determined before they leave the heaven. Their spirit has already made an agreement with the powers that belong to. This agreement may be for money, long life, children, etc. This agreement depends on the individual.

In some cases a person may have a husband or wife during their time in the heavens and they may have made a promise to this significant other. They may have promised not to take another husband or wife when they travel to earth. Or they may have promised only to spend a day, week or month on earth. If the agreement was broken while on earth an individual will experience many problems in their earthly life.
It is important that a person makes a sacrifice to the Egbe Emere, Didi Eru Egbe or the relevant Egbe Orun for their particular situation when they arrive to this world. Some promise that they will do it while in heaven but when they come they get distracted and don’t perform the necessary sacrifice.

Some people have Egbe Orun in the ocean. Some have Egbe Orun in a particular tree. Everyone has Egbe or spirit companions that they were close to while in heaven. In Oyeku Ogbe,

Iji aji a ko jire
Isun asun a ko sun ire
Ebo Oyekulogbe la o mon
it was divined for Orunmila when Orunmila hide his money in his room. On the day when he returned from a journey, he found that the money was missing. He thought that one of his Omo Awo had stolen it. The money kept coming up missing and Orunmila discovered that it was his Egbe disrupting his life. Afterward, he performed the necessary sacrifice, feeding them. After doing this, the money stopped disappear. E.t.c

Isefa is to receive one hand of Ifa. This only happens if due to one reason or the other, the person could not be initiated at that present time and it’s important for such person to have Ifa at that time so such person will receive one hand of Ifa.

Also it’s done where by Ifa instructed that a new born needs to have Ifa immediately, one hand of Ifa will be made for such baby.

Itefa: this is the complete process of Ifa initiation. Such person enters Igbodu, cut hair and every other rites are done accordingly.

Idafa: this simply means Ifa consultation, the process of seeking clarification on things we couldn’t not understand from Ifa through a competent Babalawo.

Ise Ifa/Akose: these are works that comes after Ebo and it’s done only if it is requires by that Odu. It’s done to ease all that has been done for the betterment of the person who went for consultation. Akose could be for financial stability, victory, favor and so on.

Akose is also done even without consultation. These are part of the scientific aspect of Ifa where nature comes to play an important role with the use of leafs. Roots, water, seeds and all aspect of nature comes together to perform wonders for man’s purpose.

It’s important to note that doing Itefa/Isefa doesn’t mean you will automatically have all the wealth in this world but rather Ifa promised one thing that such person will never lack.

It doesn’t mean you won’t face challenges and obstacles but be rest assured that you will always be victorious.

12/01/2023

Ifa (Orunmila), god of divination, fate, and wisdom, informs mortals of the wishes of Olorun, the sky god, the god of destiny; he was appointed by the supreme god to protect and rule the people. He is consulted before any action is taken—from choosing the time of marriage, building a house, or entering an agreement, to going to war or making peace. Coming after Sango in order of eminence, he has the title of Gbangba, explanation, demonstration, proof. Ifa's secondary attribute is to cause fecundity; he presides at births, and women pray to him to be made fruitful. Obatala causes the woman to become pregnant, while Ifa forms the child in the womb.

Ifa first appeared on the earth at Ife, but his parentage and origin are unexplained. He tried to teach the inhabitants of Ife how to foretell future events, but they would not listen to him, so he left the town and wandered about the world teaching mankind. After roaming for a long time, Ifa fixed his residence at Ado, where he planted on a rock a palm nut from which sixteen palm trees at once grew up. Ifa has an attendant, Odu, and a messenger, Opele. Ifa, the oracle of divination, is named after the deity who controls it. No serious decision is taken without consulting it: a whitened board is employed, about two feet long and eight or nine inches broad, on which are marked sixteen figures. These figures are called “mothers.” The sixteen palm nuts are held loosely in the right hand, and thrown through the half-closed fingers into the left hand. If one nut remains in the right hand, two marks are made, and if two remain, one mark. In this way is formed the sixteen “mothers,” and from the order in which they are produced certain results are deduced. The interpretation is in accordance with established rule, but that rule is known only to the initiated. The basis of divination is a series of 256 figures (odu) or permutations, each with a name; one of these is arrived at either by casting a chain of eight seeds or by “beating” palm kernels. Each permutation has a number of verses associated specifically with it, each verse being related to a problem which may be similar to that with which the client is confronted.

12/01/2023

EGUNGUN/ ANCESTORS:
"Egun are the spirits of departed ancestors, whether related by blood or by religious lineage. Honoring one's ancestors can be viewed in simple or in complex, metaphysical terms, which we will examine here.
When an individual is born, her soul incarnates, that is, takes on a physical body. This soul comes from a constellation of energy that continuously incarnates within a family line. This is a very broad concept, because all family lines eventually return to one people. However, it is commonly believed that familiar energies tend to stay together, which is why we bear the traits of our recent ancestors. While the soul is here, it gathers wisdom and knowledge through its experiences on this plane. When the individual dies, the spirit dis-incarnates and returns to that constellation of energies, the cull of souls, if you will, to await reincarnation. Because time is not a reality but a series of labels we put on reality to be able to comprehend events in some sort of order, we must understand that all incarnations of all souls exist simultaneously. We are all living one big life. This is why so many people can cite so many varied experiences in past lives and why so many people experience the lives of famous people as their own past lives. This is also the main reason we revere our ancestors: to revere our source, those experiences that our souls have had beyond those which they are having in their current incarnation. When I give offerings to my grandfather, I am "feeding" that part of myself and my family line that lived the life my grandfather lived. When I continue my relationship with a deceased family member, it is because, in some way, that relative still exists, whether the particular energy that powered the particular body of that family member has reincarnated or not. To have existed at one time is to exist eternally. To deny the importance of the experiences that our souls had and continue to have on other planes of existence is to deny our very selves. When we are told that an Egun has a problem with us or that an Egun wants our attention.

08/01/2023

Special instruments are used to assist in the divination to transcribe Orunmila's wisdom through the diviner. The items used for divination include:

• a group of sixteen Ikin, commonly known as palm nuts, which are used to create binary data
• Dust from the Irosun tree (Iyerosun)
• a vessel for the seeds (Ajere Ifa)
• a divination tray (opon Ifa).
• a tapper instrument (iroke Ifa)
• a fly whisk (Irukere Ifa)
• beaded belts for the babalawo / iyanifa to wear (this is not required)
• another form of divination is with the Opele, though Ikin is considered superior

The (opon Ifa) or tray and (iroke Ifa) or tapper are used in Ifa divination, a central ritual within Ifa tradition. This tray, adorned with carved images and dusted with powder, serves as the template on which sacred signs (odu) related to the personal concerns of a diviner's client are traced as the point of departure for analysis.

In contrast to those transitory signs, the more permanent backdrop of the carved motifs on the tapper and tray constitutes an artistic exegesis of the forces that shape human experience and the universal needs fulfilled by such quests for enlightenment.

To initiate the ritual, the babalawo / iyanifa places the tray in front of him and taps rhythmically on it with the pointed end of the tapper, invoking the presence of Orunmila, past diviners and other Orisa.

There are a variety of palm nuts that are available, but only specific kinds may be used for Ifa divination and must have at least 3 "eyes" or more. The palm nuts are grouped in one hand, then the diviner attempts to shift them all to his / her other hand at once, and counts the remaining Ikin left, hopefully to discover that either one or two remain.

(Odu, which are the foundation of the binary data, can only be marked with either one or two palm nuts, remaining in the diviner's original hand. As this process goes on, the diviner marks single or double marks in wood powder spread on his divination tray until he or she has created one of the 256 odus that are available.

Each of these odus is associated with a traditional set of Ese (verses), often relating to Yoruba mythology, which explain their divinatory meaning.
