Slum and Rural Health Initiative (SRHIN) is a nonprofit organization that started operations in 2017 and is officially registered in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and the Gambia that improves access to healthcare information and services in Africa, especially in vulnerable and underserved communities using the tools of advocacy, research, and technology.

Symptoms of yellow fever include fever, headache, jaundice, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue.

Yellow fever is difficult to diagnose, especially during the early stages. A more severe case can be confused with severe malaria๐ŸฆŸ

Vaccination is the most important means of preventing yellow fever.

The yellow fever vaccine is safe and affordable and a single dose provides life-long protection against yellow fever disease. A booster dose of the yellow fever vaccine is not needed.

The Ripple Project is a one year program that aims at increasing knowledge amongst young people on the effects of Sexual Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), Harmful Practices (HP) and the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) amongst Youths by engaging youths to educate their peers with essential information regarding SGBV, HP and SRHR. This engagement is for the FCT only.
