Sleeping with a light on can play havoc with insulin levels and consequently impair the response to glucose, a two-night sleep-lab study of 20 people indicates.

"The most important finding" is that compared to one night in a dim light environment, "one night of exposure to a moderate level of room light while sleeping with eyes closed increased heart rate and sympathetic [nervous system] activity during the entire sleep period," said senior author Phyllis C. Zee, MD, PhD.

One night sleeping in a room with moderately bright light was linked with increased insulin resistance the following morning, compared with sleeping in a dimly lit room, in a sleep-lab experiment.

it is a condition characterized by painful and stiffen shoulder joint.The Pain increases at night because there is increase in blood flow to the shoulder supplying nutrients for formation of new tissues, bursitis, tendinopathy . This pain can be deceased by putting a pillow under the shoulder and resting your arm on your stomach
This condition occurs mostly in the 40 to 60 Aged persons and also in diabetic patients.
It occurs in four stages,that is
1-Prefeezing(1-3months)
2-freezing(3-9months)
3-frozen (9-14months)
4-Thawing(12-15months)

CAUSES OF FROZEN SHOULDER
*Inflammation, scaring, shrinking and thickening of the capsule surrounding a normal joint
*Bursitis(inflammation of fluid filled space around the joint)
*Tendinitis
*Rotator cuff injury
Keep arm immobile for a long period

SYMPTOMS OF FROZEN SHOULDER

DISLOCATION AND CAUSE
Dislocation occurs when ball of the hemerus slides away from the socket of the shoulder cavity.This can result due tofalling on an outstretched arm Accidents including traffic accidentseizures and electric shocks which can cause muscle contractions that pulls arm out of place Sport injuries

Inability to move joint

FIRST AID AND TREATMENT

support the injured arm with a sling
Tie a broad fold band bandage to give more support
Remove any fitted jewelleries like ring,watch or bangles to prevent further complications due to swellings
Take the patient to the closest orthopedic center
Treatment may last for 12 weeks to 16weeks

PREVENTION OF DISLOCATION
Absolute care should be observed to prevent falling
Wear protective gears when playing contact sports
Exercise regularly to maintain strength and flexibility of joints

Been strong and healthy does not entails, just been fine physical or at the outward appearance, but includes mental wellness, emotional and psychological wellness and perfect condition of internal organs, This can be achieved by Conscious efforts,hence take into consideration what you take into your system that is your diet, eating habits,do include fruits vegetables especially those with fibres like apple and do take enough water, Regular execise will go a long way, Regular check up of your body systems and internal organs will either make you stay healthy or make start correcting abnormalities on time
