Does soaking garri really harm your eyes? 👀

Many people believe that drinking garri can cause eye problems due to its cyanide content. But is this entirely true? 🤔

While poorly processed cassava (from which garri is made) may contain some cyanide, properly processed garri is safe to consume in moderation. However, excessive intake, especially without a balanced diet, could contribute to certain deficiencies that may affect eye health over time.

✅ Verdict: FALSE! Soaking garri doesn’t destroy your eyes, but a balanced diet rich in vitamins is essential for good vision.
