Every child deserves the best possible start in life, and immunization is one of the most effective tools to safeguard our children from preventable diseases, helping them grow up healthy and resilient. Nigeria, however, faces a significant challenge, with 2.3 million children remaining unvaccinated each year—representing the largest population of children in the world who have not received a single vaccine. This alarming statistic highlights the urgent need for innovative solutions to improve vaccine access and coverage.
To address this issues the Kano state government has adopted our HelpMum digital innovations (HelpMum vaccination tracker, HelpMum chatbot and HelpMum ADVISER) into their respective primary health care system and we have started the deployment of our digital innovations across all the primary health centers in the state.
This month, our state officers in Kano state visited different primary health centers. During his visit, he interacted with health workers and nursing mothers, introducing them to our innovative tools: the HelpMum Vaccination Tracker, HelpMum Chatbot, and HelpMum ADVISER. He also helped the nursing mothers present at the centers install the HelpMum vaccination tracker and provided access to our HelpMum chatbot on their mobile devices, facilitating easy monitoring of their child's vaccination schedule, access to accurate vaccine information, and timely immunization. Additionally, he also pasted our banners that contains two barcodes that can be scanned for effortless access to our HelpMum Chatbot and HelpMum Vaccination Tracker app.
HelpMum is committed to increasing vaccination rates through innovative digital solutions, with the goal of reducing vaccine-preventable diseases and improving children's health outcomes across Africa.
