Hi FAM, ❤️

Permit me to share with you how my weekend went….
And oh yes, I have had quite an eventful month from the very first week till date…but let me start with this one (will share others later😁)

On Saturday 23rd March 2024, history was made…

I am talking about the with some of the most finest, delectable, outstanding women in the City of Port Harcourt… these are not just women but brands to be reckoned with.

The event was Centered around the book REAL LADIES DONT TAKE BULLSH*T the author Dr and the network

Highlight of the event include the conversations around abhorrent characters and the guys who show them plus possible solutions should you find yourselves either in a relationship with a guy with such characters or are currently married to one as captured in the book, the book review as well as book signing by the author.

Amongst those who honoured our invitation and made the day colourful with their presence and meaningful contributions are;

Not forgetting THE REAL LADIES NETWORK POWERHOUSE who saw the event from a paper sketch to reality…

My humble self who conceived the idea of the after several conversations with the author, served as both host and book reviewer for the day🥰

who brought her ideas and A game when it came to planning this phenomenal event irrespective of the constricted time frame🥰

who was the brain behind all the logos, designs, media and tech as it concerns the REAL LADIES NETWORK…

Exactly two months ago today...

I had the honour of being a panelist at my dear Kingsley Ime ‘s event together with other amazing and phenomenal speakers...

I could have easily turned it down seeing I was heavily pregnant at the time and I am sure Kingsley would definitely understand....

But then, for me it was yet another opportunity to SHARE KNOWLEDGE, INSPIRE and IMPACT...
The theme was ... FUEL YOUR DRIVE and
To be honest me sef that day been need fuel my own drive o😂😂😂😂

I was about 34 weeks and a day gone...I was so tired that day o and all I wanted to do was just SLEEP...
It was a Saturday, my day off work, I had work the following day being Sunday and thanksgiving service to attend in the morning...
My head was filled with thoughts of how to drive myself down to the venue dealing with traffic and some drivers who feel like they own the road.
Plus the thought of something appropriate and comfortable to wear (I think almost all the pregnant women I know had that peculiar challenge🤦🏾‍♀️ especially as the bump keeps increasing)
For me, it was always my husband’s shirts to the rescue 😂😂😂 but this was not an event I wanted to show up in my husband’s shirt seeing I was one of the PANELIST (I need rep my brand well na)

In the end, I showed up and I was glad I did🥰

Now to the part:

In a world where it is okay to give excuses (whether genuine or cooked up) and people would definitely understand, DON’T LET THOSE EXCUSES LIMIT YOU....
