                                            This condition is called dermatographia  also known as dermatographic urticaria or "skin writing,” is a condition characterized by the skin becoming raised and inflamed when scratched or lightly irritated. The exact cause of dermatographia is not fully understood or scientific proven but it is believed to be an abnormal immune system response, most cultures from the  the niger delta region believe it is associated with witchcraft attack. 
The exact trigger for dermatographia is often unknown, but certain factors may contribute to its development or exacerbation:
Genetics: Dermatographia may have a genetic component, as it sometimes runs in families.
Allergies: Individuals with existing allergies or a history of atopic conditions like hay fever or asthma may be more prone to developing dermatographia.
Autoimmune disorders: There might be a link between dermatographia and autoimmune disorders, as some individuals with conditions like lupus or Hashimoto's thyroiditis have reported experiencing dermatographia-like symptoms.
Stress: Emotional or physical stress can potentially worsen the symptoms of dermatographia in some people.
Underlying skin conditions: Dermatographia can also occur alongside other skin conditions such as eczema or urticaria (hives).
