Himalaya’s salt?
There are natural salt deposits, which have accumulated over 500 millions of years and they can be found in different locations all over the world. In Nigeria the most popular is in Calabar. These natural salt mountains contain numerous elements used in building up the body.
However the oldest salt deposit in the world is the salt range in Pakistan from where the salt rocks, known as Himalayas salt, are obtained. This is the only salt in the world that contains all the 84 elements that the body needs.
It is different from the artificial salt we use today, which is synthetically obtained by the sedimentation of sodium and chloride from seawater and the addition of a little magnesium to prevent it from sticking together. Thus the table salt contains only three (NaCl with magnesium) of the possible 84 elements it could contain. Natural salt repairs all the cells in the body if used as brine (salt solution) regularly every morning. Its effects are enhanced if the natural salt is used when cooking replacing the artificial salt, and if the body receives enough pure water (not juices etc.) at least 2liters daily.
A one per cent (4ml of brine mixed with 100ml of water) solution has on analysis been found to be identical in chemical properties to the amniotic fluid found in the womb during pregnancy. It also has the same PH as the blood and so does not burn when it enters the eyes, or touches mucous membranes.

USES
It detoxifies, cleanses and purifies body cells thus regenerating them, for this reason, it is extremely important that as much water as possible is taken to help the kidneys eliminate the toxic waste from the cells.
Hefty reactions such as diarrhoea or a headache may result due to the detoxification process. In such cases reduce the dosage to half a teaspoon. This salt solution also regulates both high and low blood pressures, however, patients suffering from low or high blood pressure should only carry out this therapy under professional guidance i.e. of a naturopath or medical doctor.
It can be used to brush teeth by dipping the toothbrush into the concentrated salt solution and brushing thoroughly, and then leave for three minutes in the mouth while gurgling before spitting out and rinsing mouth with clean water.
It can be used to cure skin impurities like pimples, also herpes blisters and insect bites by rubbing concentrated solution on affected areas.
For cleaning wounds.
It can be inhaled to cure colds, hay fever diseases of the respiratory tract.
Used for treating athlete-foot
For intestine cleansing
Get yourself some Himalayas salt and try it out, even if it means just using it to cook, you will notice the difference!

YOGA… ‘THE GREAT EXERCISE’
Yoga is defined as a series of postures and breathing exercises practiced to attain physical, mental control and tranquility.
Yoga typically means ‘union’ between the mind, body and spirit. The ultimate aim is to create a balance between the body and the mind and to attain self-enlightenment.
