My One-Year Journey in Canada. One Year of Growth, Grace and Gratitude 🙏 🙏 🙏
On January 23rd, 2024, my family and I stepped into a new chapter of life as we relocated to Canada. By God’s grace, the transition was very smooth.
Slowly but surely, things began to fall into place very well. One by one, our dreams started coming true—visions for work, skills, and greater opportunities began to align, and my family embraced them all with gratitude and joy.
In one year, my family has been blessed beyond measure. Wisdom, just like his name represents has wisely won numerous awards from different companies within a few months—a testament to his hard work, wisdom and God’s Divine's favor.
Divine has been divinely equipped with so many skills and stands out remarkably in everything she touches or does. And Fortune, exactly just like his name too, has been so fortunate in everything. He is excelling academically and presently, he is a First Class Student.
We've been blessed by God in different ways. I didn't tell you, I've got upcoming military soldiers 🪖 🪖 . Our God is good.
What more could I ask for? Should I tell you about myself and my husband? 😜 We've been blessed abundantly in so many different ways...... In fact, my entire family has been blessed, and all thanks to God Almighty.....
But as we celebrate these blessings, I can’t help but feel the absence of my beloved father, Hon. Sir Sydney Chukuma Ukonu. My Dearest Daddy waited with boundless joy for our arrival. He was constantly calling me on the phone and following up with us on all our transits. Daddy, rejoicing as we finally arrived Canada on the 23rd of January, 2024. Now, his absence echoes in our hearts as we celebrate "One Year in Canada" without him. 😭
Today, Daddy is not here today to rejoice with us.
Within this one year of our relocation, I just traveled back to Nigeria few weeks ago—not for joy, but to bury my precious and lovely Dad who waited so patiently for our move, only for us to lose him 7 months after our relocation 😭. Well, God knows best.
As we mark this milestone—one year in my new home, my new hometown, my new country Canada, I can't thank God enough. Thank You Jesus 🙏
