Swiss Roll Recipes (9 Recipes)

1. Strawberry Swiss Roll

Ingredients
• 4 eggs
• ¾ cup sugar
• ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup strawberry jam
• 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Beat eggs and sugar until thick and fluffy.
3. Add vanilla and vegetable oil, mix well.
4. Fold in flour gently.
5. Spread batter evenly in the tray and bake 10–12 minutes.
6. Roll cake with parchment while warm and let cool.
7. Unroll, spread jam and whipped cream.
8. Roll again and refrigerate before slicing.

1️⃣Chocolate Ice Cream

About 1 quart (4–6 servings)

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
¾ cup sugar
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

2️⃣Strawberry Ice Cream

Yield: about 1 quart

Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
¾ cup sugar
1½ cups fresh strawberries, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Mash strawberries with ¼ cup sugar and let sit 10 minutes.
2. Whisk milk and remaining sugar until dissolved.
3. Add cream, strawberries, and vanilla.
4. Churn in ice cream maker and freeze until firm.

• 2 cups finely grated carrots
• ½ cup crushed pineapple (optional but makes it moist)

For the cream cheese frosting
• 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
• ½ cup butter, softened
• 3 cups powdered sugar
