3. Environmental Management
Remove standing water to prevent mosquito breeding.
4. Cover and clean water containers.
5. Personal Protection
Wear long-sleeved clothing at night.
6. Use mosquito repellent on skin.
7. Chemoprophylaxis
Take antimalarial drugs as prescribed, especially for high-risk groups.
8. Prompt Diagnosis and Treatment
Seek medical care immediately for symptoms.
Use rapid diagnostic tests.
Complete prescribed medication.
9. Community Education
Educate communities about malaria prevention.
Distribute materials in local languages.
10. Healthcare Infrastructure
Ensure access to diagnosis and treatment.
Train healthcare workers on malaria protocols.
11. Monitoring and Surveillance
Monitor and report malaria cases regularly.
