“What if I can’t pay?”
That’s the fear many parents whisper at hospital doors. 💔
Chinedu knows that fear too well. A single father of two, doing his best with the little he earns.
Then one night, his son fell sick.
High fever. Restless breathing.
The kind of night every parent dreads.
He rushed to the hospital.
But before the doctor could even write down the first prescription, a question came:
“Will you be able to pay?”
Chinedu froze. His heart sank.
He thought of his savings which was barely enough for food. He thought of borrowing.. but who would lend him money this late at night?
For a moment, he felt helpless.
But then, he realized he had health coverage! Yes!
