THE HEALTH IMPLICATIONS OF TRAMADOL ABUSE..
This medication is used to help relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. Tramadol is similar to opioid (narcotic) analgesics. It works in the brain to change how the body feels and responds to pain.
When taken orally, the onset of pain relief usually occurs within an hour. In this country, the approved dosage is 50 and 100mg but unfortunately some people have smuggled unapproved tramadol into the country with 200 and 250mg. Even with the approved ones, some take it in overdose because they want to feel high.
Unfortunately, the abuse of it in recent times has become a public health issues. Tramadol abuse is spreading like bush fire. It's among both the young and the old. Though some people recently heard of such a drug because it's gaining attention in public and some people believe it's something that just pop up in modern medicine, it has existed for decades.
Tramadol was lunched and marketed as Tramal by a German Pharmaceutical company in 1977 in West Germany. 20 years later, it was lunched in US, UK and Australia.
The abuse of the drug is on the increase due to certain effect it brings to its abusers and the fact that it's sold without prescription and others have made it their business to be supplying the drugs on demand.
Some take it because they say it makes them have s*x for longer period of time, others take it because it gives them a good feeling by making them calm and happy. Others also take it because they say it makes them work harder and due to its addictive properties more and more people are hooked unto it and can't quit on their own even when they wish to.
HERE ARE SOME COMMON SIDE EFFECTS OF TRAMADOL:
1. The abuse of the drug can lead to constipation making it extremely difficult to defecate.
2. It can lead to body itching and makes it difficult to go about ones normal duties.
3. It can lead to nausea and almost everything you smell will trigger the feeling of vomiting.
4. It can also reduce or decrease ones alertness as so many things will go unnoticed by the person.
5. Once you get to the level of addiction, you don't feel okay or normal without taking in the drug and the more you take in the higher the effect.
6. It can also make the person experience spinning sensation as though the earth is moving in circles.
7. When a person who is already depressed or has suicidal tendencies abuse tramadol it can give the person the urge to kill himself or herself.
8. Persons below the age of 17 who abuse tramadol are likely to have difficulty in breathing.
9. It puts a lot of pressure on the liver and with time it destroys it.
10. It can also cause the person to begin to see things that do not exist. It an cause the person to see another human being as snake or any other wild animal and in defence he or she may harm the innocent person (hallucinations)
11. It increases panic attack and makes one feel as though people are about to kill them or attack them. They panic to almost everything around them.
12. It can completely shut down so many organs in the body leading to a zombie state.
13. It can lead to DEATH.
TRAMADOL is spreading very fast and innocent people are lured unto it with so many wonderful lies and promises as to what it will do for them. The feeling it gives you now is just temporal but it's effect can be seriously damaging and permanent.
Don't listen to friends or people who will come to lure you into it. Rely on your own strength and ability to have s*x. You do not need tramadol for s*x, to drive long distance or to sell and not get tired at the market.
The body has its own way of functioning and when you use chemicals to push things beyond what it can cope with them it's obvious that the body will break down and you are risking your precious life.

What is World Water Day?
World Water Day, on 22 March every year, is about focusing attention on the importance of water. The theme for World Water Day 2018 is ‘ Nature for Water’ – exploring nature-based solutions to the water challenges we face in the 21 st century.
Damaged ecosystems affect the quantity and quality of water available for human consumption. Today, 2.1 billion people live without safe drinking water at home; affecting their health, education and livelihoods.
Sustainable Development Goal 6 commits the world to ensuring that everyone has access to safe water by 2030, and includes targets on protecting the natural environment and reducing pollution.

THE DECEPTION OF STAPH!
[Read slowly. And carefully.]
First, there is no DISEASE called "staph" or "staphylococcus". It is a lie. I guess some Nigerian and African hawkers invented the disease to extort money from ignorant people.
Secondly, there are some microorganisms called "Staphylococcus". Some of these organisms are a normal part of our body. Everybody has it. Therefore, if I do a lab test to check for staph on ANYBODY, it will be positive, most likely. It is normal.
Staph bacteria can cause a wide range of infections, from relatively minor skin infections such as boils, to more serious infections of the blood, lungs and heart.
There are many types of Staphylococci, but most infections are caused by a group called Staphylococcus aureus.
This group of bacteria includes meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), which is resistant to certain antibiotics that are commonly used for staph infections, such as flucloxacillin.
Thirdly, sometimes, staph organisms can cause diseases. This is usually life-threatening & quite rare.
Treatment of a staph infection may include:
Antibiotics. Your doctor may perform tests to identify of the staph bacteria behind your infection, and to help choose the antibiotic that will work best. Antibiotics commonly prescribed to treat staph infections include certain cephalosporins, nafcillin or related antibiotics, sulfa drugs, or vancomycin.
Vancomycin increasingly is required to treat serious staph infections because so many strains of staph bacteria have become resistant to other traditional medicines. But vancomycin and some other antibiotics have to be given intravenously.
If you're given an oral antibiotic, be sure to take it as directed, and to finish all of the medication prescribed by your doctor. Ask your doctor what signs and symptoms you should watch for that might indicate your infection is worsening. Dr. O. O. J

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease: Untreated, The Disease Could Cause Infertility. Pelvic inflammatory disease, also commonly called “PID,” is an infection that affects a woman’s reproductive system. In a woman, the reproductive system includes: The uterus or womb (the organ that holds a baby when a woman is pregnant), the ovaries (the organs that release eggs), the fallopian tubes (which connect the ovaries to the uterus) and the va**na (which connects the uterus to the outside of the body). Chlamydia and gonorrhea are two of the most common bacterial infections that lead to PID. Gonorrhea and Chlamydia infections are usually spread from one person to another during unprotected s*x. A man does not have to ej*****te to spread the infection. Research has shown that rarely can one become infected with these organisms by touching objects, like a toilet seat because for these organisms can only survive for only a very short time on the surface of the toilet seat and for the infection to occur, the germs would have to be transferred from the toilet seat to ones urethra or ge***al tract, or through an open cut or sore on the buttocks or thighs which is all possible but very unlikely to contract the disease from the toilet seats and other objects, unless of course they have unprotected s*x on the toilet seat!. Your risk of getting gonorrhea is greater if you have a new s*xual partner, more than one s*xual partner, or if you have had gonorrhea before. PID occurs in highest frequency among those 25 to 35 years of age, with the incidence in women older than the age of 35 years being only one-seventh of that in younger women. Previous PID increases the risk for subsequent episodes, and approximately one in four women with PID will suffer recurrence. PID does not always cause symptoms. When it does, the main symptom is pain in the lower belly. In some women, this pain gets worse during s*x. Other symptoms can include; fever, chills, fluid leaking from the va**na (called “discharge’’ usually with a bad odour), bleeding or spotting from the va**na, painful and sometimes irregular periods, pain during a pelvic exam. If chlamydia or gonorrhea is not treated, up to 30 percent of women may develop PID. PID can cause scarring of the fallopian tubes, which can lead to infertility and an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy that develops in the fallopian tube rather than the uterus). People with these infections are at higher risk of becoming infected with HIV. Fortunately, these infections can be cured with antibiotics and early intervention will prevent these late complications of untreated PID! These infections are curable with antibiotics if taken as prescribed. Treatment is important for you and anyone you have had s*x with recently. Your doctor might even ask you to tell your s*xual partner(s) to be tested and in some cases, your doctor could give you a prescription for both you and your partner. You should not have s*x until both you and your partner have been treated. It is possible to be infected with gonorrhea more than once. Since PID is caused by a germ that you get during s*x, you can lower your risk of getting PID by; using a condom every time you have s*x, one committed s*xual partner, or abstaining from having s*x. Treatment of PID Several randomized trials have demonstrated the efficacy of biotics in the treatment of PID. Clinical experience should guide decisions regarding transition to oral therapy, which usually can be initiated within 24–48 hours of clinical improvement. In women with tubo-ovarian abscesses, at least 24 hours of inpatient observation is recommended. Recommended Treatment.. Cefotetan 2 g IV every 12 hours PLUS Doxycycline 100 mg orally or IV every 12 hours OR Cefoxitin 2 g IV every 6 hours PLUS Doxycycline 100 mg orally or IV every 12 hours OR Clindamycin 900 mg IV every 8 hours PLUS Gentamicin loading dose IV or IM (2 mg/kg), followed by a maintenance dose (1.5 mg/kg) every 8 hours. Single daily dosing (3–5 mg/kg) can be substituted.

Hemorrhoids are clumps of dilated (enlarged) blood
vessels in the a**s and lower re**um. The re**um
is the last area of the large intestine before it exits
to the a**s. The a**s is the end of the digestive
tract where f***s leaves the body.
Sometimes hemorrhoids swell when the veins
enlarge and their walls become stretched, thin, and
irritated by passing stool. Hemorrhoids are
classified into two general categories:
internal, originating in the re**um, and
external, originating in the a**s.
Hemorrhoids (also termed piles) have caused pain
and irritation throughout human history. The word
comes from Greek, “haimorrhoides,” meaning veins
that are liable to discharge blood. If you've had a
bout of hemorrhoid pain, you're not alone. It's
estimated that three out of every four people will
have hemorrhoids at some point in their lives.
Even Napoleon suffered from hemorrhoids, which
distracted him with severe pain during his defeat at
Waterloo.
Enlarged Hemorrhoid Symptoms
Enlarged hemorrhoids are associated with
symptoms such as
itching,
mucus discharge,
burning at the a**s,
severe pain,
a sensation that the bowel is not really empty,
and
bleeding without pain.
