5. Poor diet (high salt). Excessive consumption of salt can constrict the blood vessels resulting in hypertension
: It is often asymptomatic that means it doesn't often show symptoms that's why it's called a silent killer. Hypertension can damage your organs/body system without knowing that why someone you just see looking healthy can die in the next hours.
Regular checks can help detect it.
Management and Treatment
1. Lifestyle changes (exercise, healthy diet, stress reduction)
2. Monitoring blood pressure regularly
3. Medications: There are different medications available to manage high blood pressure but I won't be mentioning them to avoid self medication
