I know there are thousands of concerns surrounding Ultra Processed Foods (UPFs) and liver disease. But I want you to know that there are many layers to liver problems.

The first step to marking safe is knowing which one of these factors you’re indulging or predisposed to and then try working on it.

Addressing liver problems is not about cutting UPFs, but still sipping alcohol, popping supplements, and sitting all day.
Your liver doesn’t need guilt. It needs better choices that fit your reality.

Stop tossing out the stems of your leafy vegetables like Ugu (fluted pumpkin), scent leaf, curry leaf, kale, spinach and many others. Yes, the leaves contain most of the nutrients, but have you also thought about the veggie's transport system "THE STEM?" 🤔

The stem is like the vegetable’s “highway,” carrying water, minerals, and plant compounds from the roots to the leaves, so it naturally stores some of those nutrients along the way.

Instead of throwing them away, wash well, then boil to extract their nutrients or cook them right into your meals.

In the picture above, I fried my curry leaf stems along with tomatoes until they wilted, and the flavor was amazing! 🔥
