Open Letter to Our Beloved Patients ❤️
From the desk of the CMD who checks eyes… and checks vibes.
Dear Esteemed Patients,
First of all… can you see this clearly? 👀
Good! That means we’re doing our job well. And if you’re squinting, it’s time to book that eye appointment—don’t test your luck (or your retina)! 😁
As your ever-grateful and ever-observant Chief Medical Director, I want to take a few moments (and a few deep blinks) to say thank you for trusting us with your sight—and to let you in on all the amazing things happening behind our well-lit consultation rooms.

👓 CLINIC BREAKTHROUGHS – LASER FOCUS MODE
This past year and now, we went full “visionary mode.” We weren’t just looking into eyes—we were looking into the future of eye care.
We beefed up our glaucoma detection game across all branches (yes, it sounds aggressive, but our visual machines are really gentle and extremely smart). We also introduced the new and fast Puff Air Non-Contact Tonometry, aka the little puff that saves sight. It checks your eye pressure faster than you can say “intraocular.”
Of course, you’ll enjoy all this in our top-tier, air-conditioned, eco-friendly clinics where your vision and comfort are taken seriously—and your vibes are welcomed warmly.

🏆 AWARDS – BECAUSE EXCELLENCE DESERVES APPLAUSE
In June 2023, we received the Award as the Most Outstanding Eye Clinic in Akwa Ibom State. Fast-forward to December 2024, and the Nigerian Optometric Association (Akwa Ibom chapter) awarded us the Distinguished Service Award—a stamp of honor for our unwavering commitment to professionalism and eye health excellence.
If trophies could wear glasses, ours would be stacked. 🏆🕶️

👠🎉 ANNUAL DINNER – GLAM, GLITTER & GRATITUDE
We closed 2024 with an Annual Dinner celebration in true ImagePlus fashion—glamour, gourmet, glowing gowns, and groove! From red carpet moments to appreciation speeches and award of excellence, it was an unforgettable night that reminded us all how far we’ve come—and how fabulous our team really is.

👨👩👧👦 STAFF WELFARE – MORE THAN JUST A PAYCHECK
Let’s talk team.
In January 2025, we launched our new minimum wage for all support staff on Admin Level 3, across all branches, under the all-new CONSIPEC (Consolidated Salary Structure of ImagePlus Eye Clinic). Because we don’t just pay salaries—we pay attention. 💰👀
To our 52-member dream team: you’re not just staff—you’re the ocular Avengers. You make this place run smoothly, and patients smile (with both eyes open).

🗳️ STAFF UNION GOVERNMENT – BY THE STAFF, FOR THE STAFF
Earlier this year, we inaugurated the ImagePlus Staff Union Government (IPEC-SUG)—yes, we now have our own eye-democracy! 🗳️
This internal staff body was created to protect staff welfare, promote open dialogue, and ensure that every voice within our organization is heard, respected, and given proper lenses of attention. No blurry leadership here—we believe in crystal-clear care, inside and out. Now we have SUG President 😁

🌍 BRANCHES – THE VISION IS SPREADING
We’re not just in Uyo anymore! We’ve launched:
• Port Harcourt branch – operational since December 2023,
• Aba branch – lighting up the city since October 2024.
We’re growing like eye drops in allergy season—fast, effective, and warmly welcomed!

🎓 GIVING BACK – ENVISIONING THE FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP
Because the future of eye care deserves support today, we proudly founded the ‘Envisioning the Future’ Scholarship Program, sponsoring brilliant optometry students across Nigerian universities.
Five outstanding students are currently enjoying full tuition support, and honestly, we’re as excited as they are to see them become the next generation of vision experts. 👩🏽⚕️👨🏾⚕️🎓
