📰 New Telegraph Report (Aug 21, 2025):

Pharmacists have urged the Federal Government to end health sector rivalries and ensure fairness for all professionals.

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) welcomed the Federal Government's new Collective Bargaining Committee but warned that unresolved issues of injustice and inequality threaten sector stability.

Key demands include:

✅ Implementation of past agreements (MoUs & CBAs)

✅ Review of CONHESS salary structure (stagnant since 2014)

✅ Parity in allowances with physicians

✅ Recognition of Consultant Pharmacists & academic cadre migration

PSN President, Pharm. Ayuba Tanko, stressed that equity in pay, leadership and career growth will restore peace, prevent strikes and protect patient care.
