Balance Wellbeing: The Key to a Healthy and Happy Life
Maintaining balance in our lives is crucial for overall wellness. It's about finding the perfect work-life balance and balancing our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. In this article, we'll explore what balance wellbeing is, why it's essential, and some practical steps you can take to achieve it.
What is Balance wellbeing?-, "Balance Wellbeing means judging life positively and feeling good all around." That's just it. No long talk. No argument.
But for the benefit of providing details, balance wellbeing refers to the state of equilibrium between different aspects of our lives. It's about finding the right balance between our physical, emotional, and spiritual health and ensuring we're not neglecting any area. The problem is in neglecting an area.
So I was hoping you could do me a favour and look into you....yes, look into you as a person. (Na only you waka come to this life- so focus on you) is there any aspect of the wellbeing dimensions you consciously or unconsciously take for granted? It could be your health, social life, physical fitness, mental wellness, financial wellbeing, etc.
Why is Balance Wellbeing Important?
Balance wellbeing is essential for several reasons:
Physical Health: Here, we take care of our physical health by exercise, healthy eating, and adequate sleep, which can help prevent chronic diseases and improve our overall wellbeing.
Emotional Health: Here, we take care of our emotional health through meditation and mindfulness and seek emotional support when we're struggling.
Spiritual Health: Here, we prioritize activities that bring us a sense of purpose and meaning, such as volunteering, practising gratitude, or connecting with nature.
Mental Wellness: Here, we watch out and protect ourselves against stress, frustration, depression etc. Our minds and the ability to think is the centre of our resilience.
Sexual Wellness: Love and relationship make the world go round, but we must do it correctly.
Digital Wellbeing: Here is where social media comes in. We all love social media as it has made life comfortable, but we must be careful of addiction and excessive exposure.
Financial Wellbeing: Here is one the most critical in the wellbeing dimension. Money answereth all. Money stops nonsense. At this stage, I am forced to ask about the different ways you make money.
How to Achieve Balance Wellbeing
Achieving balance wellness is an ongoing process that requires self-awareness- you need to know who you are; intentionality- you have to be intentional about getting to the equilibrium, and commitment- you must be committed to enhancing your wellbeing. Coaches can only guide and help you with a blueprint. The responsibility lies with you....."No ifs, No buts."
Please take these steps to achieve balance in your life:
Set Priorities: Identify your priorities in each area of your life. 1st, find out what your vision is.
Create a Schedule: Use a calendar or planner to schedule your activities, and be intentional about setting aside time for self-care, social connections, and spiritual practices.
Practice Mindfulness: We must emphasize this. Forget about the past; live in the present because it's the presence that gives birth to the future.
Let's be mindful of our thoughts and emotions and live in the NOW- the present.
Learn to Say No: Say no to activities that don't align with your priorities or values, or else you get burnt out.
Seek Support: Be bold and seek support. This could mean talking to a friend, family member, or professional counsellor.
Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
In conclusion, achieving balance wellbeing is essential for overall health and happiness. We can live a fulfilling and meaningful life by prioritizing our physical, emotional, and spiritual health, etc. and taking intentional steps to maintain balance in each area.
Remember balance wellbeing is like a perfectly ripe avocado pear.
