me as a community Nurse last year
omo it's not easy to work in rural settings
The stress alone is something else , transportation, feeding, your personal health is at stake, you are just there explaining one thing over and over again to your patients for proper understanding
i have not mentioned misconceptions and what this people believe, very hard to health educate them
their culture is another contributory factor, I have seen people loose. their lives because they signed against medical and left the facility and went to a Traditional birth attendance or a traditional man in the village for cure , when it fails out worsen, before they even brings the person back to the hospital, the person is Dead already.
They will shout Nurse nor give an injection abeg leave am , then why did you brought the patient to the hospital 😂🤣😂🤣
