The Founder, Dcn. Shola Mese of Shola Mese Foundation, yesterday hosted friends and relatives to his 55th birthday bash party at his villa in Effurun. He leveraged on his birthday to distribute food items and clothing’s (wrappers) to about 200 elderly women, widows and the less privileged. The high point of the ceremony was blood / sugar and blood pressure test that was carried out to about 50% of the invitees. The Medical team from Radah Bay Hospital were on ground to ensure that the test were carried out in line with best practice.
It was a clement weather as the elderly women and Bishop Tina released prayers on Dcn. Shola Mese to further thank God Almighty for his protection and blessings upon a jolly good fellow, a humanitarian and a philanthropist.
The women were drawn from Ugborikoko community, Ugboroke, Ajamimogha, Ogunu, Okere, Ekurede Urhobo, Enerhen, Living Faith Church, Effurun, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, St. Anthony Catholic Church et al.

Pictures to mark the United Nation Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with the theme "Share Facts About Drug" Saves Lives" The event showcased drama presentation about drug abuse and how best to overcome the intake of illicit substances. Other NGO's were on ground to share facts about drugs; Friends Against Drug Abuse, NDLEA also shared facts on the need to stay away from hard substances. In Shola Mese Foundation, we try as much as possible to engage youths and teenagers through our skill acquisition center to give them a sense of belonging.
