ALL SOULS DAY.
Dear Sir Martin Mbaakaaga Mary Myerga,
I hope this letter finds you in a place of eternal peace and happiness. As I sit down to write to you, my heart is filled with a mix of emotions - sadness, gratitude, and nostalgia. It's hard to believe it's been a few years since you left us, but your legacy lives on in my heart and the countless lives you touched.
I often think about the days I spent under your guidance, and the impact you had on my life. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in me helped shape me into the person I am today. Your scholarship award(UNIVERSITY SPONSORSHIP) to me though not followed due to your death; it was a vote of confidence in my abilities, a reminder that I was capable of achieving great things.
Sir, I'm writing to let you know that your dreams for me are slowly but surely falling into place. I've worked hard to make you proud, and I'm thrilled to report that I've made significant progress in my academic and professional pursuits. The values you instilled in me - perseverance, resilience, and determination - have been my guiding principles.
I remember the countless hours we spent discussing my future, and how you envisioned me making a positive impact in our community. Your words still resonate in my mind, and I'm committed to fulfilling those aspirations. It's bittersweet, knowing that you're not here to witness the realization of your vision, but I take comfort in knowing that you're watching over me from above.
I miss you so much, Sir. I wish you were here to see the person I'm becoming. I wish you could attend my matriculation (already done), graduation, see me receive awards(which I am optimistic), and share in my joys. Your presence would have made those moments even more special. But even in your absence, your spirit continues to inspire me.
Your passing was a tremendous loss, not just for me but for everyone whose life you touched. However, your legacy lives on through the countless lives you transformed, including mine. Your investment in me has yielded fruits,
You registered National Examination Council (NECO) for me, and I'm committed to honoring your memory by continuing to strive for excellence.
As I navigate life's challenges, I often ask myself, "What would Sir want me to do?" Your guidance, though no longer physically present, remains a constant source of direction. Your influence has shaped my character, and I'm grateful for the time we shared.
I want to express my deepest gratitude for everything you did for me. Your scholarship, though NOT FOLLOWED, was a catalyst for my growth. Your mentorship, guidance, and love have been invaluable. You may be gone, but your impact on my life will never fade.
As I reflect on my journey, I'm reminded of the opportunity you afforded me to give back to our alma mater. After graduating from your esteemed institution, DIVINE MERCY SECONDARY SCHOOL ZAKI-BIAM as the HEAD BOY, I had the privilege of serving as a Boarding Master for three remarkable years. The experience not only allowed me to repay the debt of gratitude I owed, but also deepened my understanding of your vision for the school. I strived to emulate your leadership, guidance, and compassion, impacting the lives of countless students who passed through our halls. Your trust in me was a tremendous honor, and I'm proud to have played a small part in continuing your legacy.
On this Feast of All Souls, I offer prayers for your eternal repose. May your soul, dear Sir MBAAKAAGA MARTIN MYERGA, rest in peace. May the goodness and kindness you embodied during your lifetime be rewarded with eternal joy and happiness. I pray that God comforts your loved ones and grants them solace in their continued grief. As we remember and honor you today, may your spirit be lifted up, and may your legacy of love, compassion, and dedication continue to inspire generations to come. Through the mercy of God, may your soul find eternal peace and happiness. Amen. May you continue to watch over me and guide me from above.
With love, respect, and gratitude,
