❗IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We wish to bring to your notice the temporary suspension of services at our facility on the advice of the Kaduna state joint task force on COVID-19 and the ministry of health. This is due to contact tracing of a patient who died at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika.
The index patient had earlier been presented to our facility and was screened at the gate by the medical team on ground before being promptly referred to ABUTH Shika with a provisional diagnosis of COVID-19.
It is important to stress once more that at no time did the index patient crossed the gate of Almadina Clinic.
We would like to commend the Kaduna state task force and the NCDC for their professionalism throughout this period and fully agree with the decision to decontaminate the Hospital as a precautionary measure.
There are thousands of asymptomatic patients walking around all over the world.
We reiterate our commitment to all safety guidelines as prescribed by the NCDC.
We remind all members of the public on their personal responsibility in observing all COVID-19 safety protocols to help mitigate the spread of the virus and prevent a collapse of our healthcare systems. The final solution will be through vaccines and efficacious drugs.
