Its a great time to join the Zantli Kindergarten Community!

We have a couple spots left and our new location in Soma is coming together beautifully. We are very excited to reopen our doors in February 2026.

Zantli is a bilingual Waldorf Inspired Kindergarten providing an experiential and creative learning environment for children ages 2 to 5 years old. 

We offer a nurturing, safe haven that invites children to relax, explore and learn about themselves, the world and the web of relationships that connect us all. In our open air school house the rhythm of the day provides gentle holding and ample freedom for imaginative child-led exploration and immersion with the natural world.

At Zantli socio-emotional and physical development cultivated through artistic activities take centerstage & are seen as the bed rock on which all subsequent, more abstract learning is built on when the child is ready.

So looking forward to meeting the new children this space is calling in! ✨

In awe of nature’d beauty and the ingenious ways these palms are used in traditional building styles of Nicaragua.

Exciting days at the kindergarten, as the roof goes up.

It’s fascinating to watch this team of nimble workers specialized in this traditional building style work their magic.

These gorgeous palms are going to be woven into our roof, with just the right inclination that the rain water drains along the palm frond’s natural down facing channels.

While the structure is built, the palms get soaked for a couple of days so that the fronds become pliable and can be braided without breaking.

Yesterday we saw the most insane rainbow arcing over us like a cosmic blessing wrapping everything up into its embrace. The experience was visceral, and I understood immediately why humans are so drawn to this shape, the unity and grace, the warmth in the continuous curve, round and full, its felt deeply as soon as the eyes behold.

~~~ Nature is the source of wonder. ~~~

It is such an honor to have the opportunity to create a space from scratch with children and their developmental needs at the center.

The kindergarten space is coming along! Its amazing what a little white wash can do. ✨

Amongst all the building, moving and planning for what’s to come in the new space I want to take a moment to give thanks and acknowledge where we have been.

Thank you to my dear co~creatress Rosie and family for letting Zantli grow in your backyard & beautiful hilltop over the last 4 years. Deep gratitude for the time, space and dreams shared. The magic of cocreation that sparked between us in this space nourished and inspired not only the kids but me as well.

Moving all the kindergarten things out of the space felt like the final part of this transition, from one home to another.

This is the turning of the page and the story continues. ✨

Here’s to new adventures in creating spaces and experiences rooted in this beautiful home of Popoyo.

Shout out to the gorgeous & newly built surf camp and coffee shop that is now what you’ll find on the Lopez hill.

Super excited to share what we are preparing for our new location over in Soma.

Creating an inspiring learning space from scratch on this gorgeous piece of land with the children at the center is such a dream.

Stay tuned as we share more details and sneak peaks of building an open air Kindergarten amidst gardens and fruit trees, minutes from the Nahualapa salt flats and Playa Guasacate, Popoyo.

Our new kindergarten home came with a gorgeous tropical plant nursery of which we are so excited to be the new stewards.

These gardens and plants will be lovingly tended to by our young learners. Gardening, nature walks and plant studies will all be part of our curriculum.
We are beyond grateful for this incredible set up and devoted to taking our motto to a whole new level.

As we transition our focus and home to a new location we want to take a moment to honor what has been.

💐

What a ride full of learning for all involved, building the foundation of this passion project from the ground up! Zantli has been serving families for 4 years on this precious hilltop over looking the Pacific Ocean.

This transition is important in that it marks an end of this first phase and the beginning of a new one: Zantli on its own stunning land with a building designed for the children.

Deep gratitude for all the teachers, assistants, surf guide papas, for the growing community of parents and for the Lopez family for sharing their special home with us all these years, what a gift!

Deep gratitude also for the support from afar, all those that follow us and have come out in support of our fundraising efforts in NY and online. Your encouragement and belief in our mission is so appreciated. 🙏

Zantli is the shared dream grown from the hearts and vision of mothers. It is still materializing and organically (slowly) growing. We are immensely grateful for this opportunity to provide heart centered and creative education for our children and families of our community and beyond excited about what phase 2 will bring.

How do we support each individual child to become an integral member of the greater Earth community?

In the current gloomy global environment it feels extremely urgent to examine and renew our educational and parenting agendas as a way to create significant change.

It feels like a time to get really clear on our values.

What are we striving for?

What is even worth our effort and attention?

What kind of world will you leave behind for your children?

Are you willing to make the necessary sacrifices to actually live in alignment with you values?
