It’s been a while since I was active on the Pony page here. It’s been a final transistion for all of us the passed year and I am so grateful all of the beautiful ponies finding there new and forever homes.

Here is a little update on Bambi and Pluto.

These two were birthed on my property in Nicaragua and it’s such a Beautiful observation to see them absolutly excelling into huge new levels of training and team work with there girls. Pluto recently turned 5yo and Bambi 7yo.

The beautiful two ❤️

Bambi (now 6years old) and Pluto (4years old)these two arrived to me from birth And have travelled together since the first day of their lives residing permanently with our Nicaragua Horse Journey and have supported the many horses Natasha has taken in for healing and well being. Together recovering, raising, and rehoming many sentients.

With the help of others we have established training and connections through the Pat Parelli methods and tinkered through multiple young strides into the most gentle personalities and help shift the generational methods here in Nicaragua into a better understanding about horse handling and their sensitivity 💜💜

Waking up to a herd of horses at my front door that my Pinto Mama and Bambi gathered from the surrounding towns enabled me to realise something bigger was happening at my residence.

This is A photo from June 12th 2016 - in the beginning of our pony adventures upon the Nicaraguan Horse Stories ❤️

Living in solitude up on that jungle mountain, these were major moments of awakening. I couldn’t believe my eyes of the experiences I was witnessing, this one in particular - a regular moment of horses lining up at my front door waiting for me to rise. No idea where they came from but none the less out journey was sweet 💜

Thankyou for allowing me the most precious fractal parts of my self to emerge form deep space beautiful sentient beings …

This is Jet. He was a 17-year-old ex-racehorse who had won $40,000 for his owners. A gentle, affectionate gelding, he was allegedly left to starve to death for over 12 months, with the RSPCA allegedly aware the entire time. He was so malnourished and hungry he was eating his own faeces.

Two weeks ago, he was surrendered to charitable horse rescue Hunter Horse Haven Inc. Rehabilitation, Rehoming & Sanctuary, where an independent vet assessed him as having a body score of zero out of ten. Deb and a team of dedicated volunteers at Hunter Horse Haven stayed with Jet around the clock, showering him in love and fighting hard to save his life with food and veterinary care. Sadly, Jet didn’t make it. The chronic starvation and neglect he endured had taken its toll on his poor heart, and he died surrounded by the people who tried so hard to save him.

Jet’s story is not unique. He is just one of thousands of victims of the cruel horse racing industry that exploits horses and reject and neglect them when they stop making money. That’s why I’ve introduced a bill to protect NSW racehorses from the worst practices of the industry. Please sign the petition to support my bill here:

We also know the RSPCA is clearly not equipped to protect animals like Jet. It’s a crime that a charitable organisation reliant on donations is made to enforce animal cruelty legislation, particularly when they have to work with animal exploitation industries at the same time. That’s why the AJP is calling for the establishment of an Independent Office of Animal Protection. Sign the petition to support the IOAP here:

I want to thank Darren Brollo Animal Justice Party NSW Lead Senate Candidate (pictured here) for taking on Jet’s fight while I was in New Zealand and for speaking out in the media about the cruelty of horse racing and the failure of NSW’s animal protection systems. Most of all, I want to thank Deb and all her volunteers at Hunter Horse Haven for trying so hard to save Jet and for showing him love and compassion in his final days. We will keep fighting for Jet and every horse like him.

Bambina and I taking a gorgeous morning walk down the chocolata through the town beach today ❤️ Bless her Heart and all the Hearts she touches along the way!

First she stopped by the river to share a moment with some local children whom thoroughly enjoyed the connection and and interest she offered.

She was Playing in some small waves and very curious about all the new objects she was passing.

We had a lovely surprise cross over with our friend Towe whom she took an immediate change in direction to follow him home! Really she didn’t want to leave his side 😅

And a quick stop along the road back home for a little smooch with the Squishy Dog and Therese of Artist residency Momentum Collective 🤷🏻‍♀️🦄

Great humans, animals, Nature and uplifting connections 🦋🐬 We are so honoured to live in such a beautiful place and start our days this way 🙌🏾
