🔹Ενδιαφέρουσα έρευνα αναφορικά με πονοκεφάλους σχετιζόμενους με τη χρήση ατομικού προστατευτικού εξοπλισμού (PPE) κατά τη διάρκεια της πανδημίας COVID-19 στον γενικό πληθυσμό της Πορτογαλίας.
🔹Η μελέτη διαπίστωσε ότι περίπου το 97% των συμμετεχόντων ασθενών με ημικρανία ή/και άλλων πονοκεφάλων ανέφεραν επιδείνωση των προϋπαρχόντων συμπτωμάτων με τη χρήση ατομικού προστατευτικού εξοπλισμού, ενώ το 56% είχε για πρώτη φορά (de novo) πονοκεφάλους.
