At KNITWEAR LAB we are constantly developing ethical knitwear, that can be made from biodegradable materials, regenerated and certified yarns, or just very beautiful long-lasting materials. Moreover, we make an emphasis on zero-waste production methods. With use of 3D knitting techniques, we are capable of knitting designs entirely out of one piece, without any waste. It is our responsibility to educate our clients on the impact their production has on our ecosystem. Virtual Knitting – Virtual Knitting by KNITWEAR LAB is a revolutionary method of industrial knitwear development: a connection between virtual and material (physical) knitting, which creates a whole new world for sustainable, cost-efficient and design-driven sample development and knitwear production. Virtual Knitting assists the customers in improving the designs on an early stage to create producible and realistic collections, simplify the design iteration process and to show multiple real life colourways. With use of KNITWEAR LAB’s extensive knitwear knowledge combined with the latest 3D software and Stoll Create Plus, a massive waste from the sample and pre-production stages can be reduced.
