Afgelopen weekend kwamen 40 spelers en stafleden samen op de thuishaven van TeamNL voor een volledig weekend vol trainingen en try-outs voor het Nederlands Olympisch Lacrosse Team. Het weer was perfect, de sfeer op deze Olympische locatie was geweldig en de strijd op het veld was fel. Er is geen betere manier om te benadrukken dat lacrosse een Olympische sport is en dat deze atleten serieuze kanshebbers zijn dan door te spelen onder dezelfde lichten als zoveel andere Olympiërs. Dank aan voor de uitstekende faciliteiten en gastvrijheid en aan voor de support.
This weekend, 40 players and staff met up at the home of TeamNL for a full weekend of training and tryouts for the Men's Dutch Olympic Lacrosse Team. The weather was perfect, the vibes of being at the home of Dutch Olympics were immaculate, and the competition was fierce. There's no better way to drive home that lacrosse is an Olympic sport and that these athletes are legit Olympic contenders than playing under the same lights as so many other Olympians have.
