The Blossom tree park is a wonderful place to bring your kids and have a picnic party in the summer time. Beauty tip: Get your kids (and yourself) braided at the local festival braids service in amstelveen first.

Don't you just love cherry blossom season? 🌸 This beautiful shot was taken in the Japanese Cherry Blossom park in Amsterdam. 🥰

The Japan Women's Club donated over 400 cherry blossoms to the city in 2000. Every tree has a name, 200 Japanese female names and 200 Dutch female names!

Cherry blossoms only bloom for about three and a half weeks during the whole year, from late March to mid April — so we're very lucky to see these beautiful pink hues. ✨

Dear beloved Blossom Tree lovers, it is understood that people are flocking to the park enmasse at the moment.

With the current Corona pandemic this can cause a big problem. Especially for the elderly and people with pre existing medical conditions among yourselves and your loved ones.

If you get infected and then infect one of them, they can be severely affected and even die. please be responsible and stay away from the park to avoid affecting yourselves and your loved ones.

The virus is more infectious through the air than it is by touch and there are cases in which the airborne virus travels more than 1,5 meters away from the host. So this rule is not set in stone.

Amstelveen is one of the hardest hit areas in the Amsterdam region as of now.

Beste geliefde Bloezem liefhebbers, wij begrijpen dat er momenteel massaal mensen naar het park toe stromen.

Met de huidige corona pandemie kan dit voor grote problemen zorgen. Vooral voor de geliefde ouderen en mensen onder jullie met bestaande gezondheidsklachten.

Als je geïnfecteerd wordt een dan een van hen infecteert, dan kunnen zij hier ernstig door aangetast worden en zelfs doodgaan. Wees daarom alstublieft verantwoordelijk en blijf voorlopig weg bij het park om dit te voorkomen.

Dit virus is aanstekelijker via de lucht dan het is via aanraking en er zijn gevallen waarbij dit virus verder dan 1,5 door de lucht heen vliegt vanaf de drager, dus deze regel staat niet vast.

Amstelveen is een van de ergst getroffen gebieden in regio Amsterdam op dit moment.
