ABOUT THE SESSION:

Did you know that there are daily practices available to activate your own qi (life energy) without the need of a Reiki practicioner? Through these practices you can rise the vibrations in yourself and all living things around you and nourish your and everyone's life energy. I think all of us have their own personal ways to connect to this kind of energy and I believe that we can all learn from each other and connect by sharing them.

My wish is to talk about this more on this page the coming week and I would like to start with the practice of gratitude. How do you connect to gratitude in your daily life? Do you have a routine? Do you involve your children? How do you remind yourself of the things that make you happy and you are grateful for? Do you say thank you when you feel like it? Do you say thank you to your food? Your loved ones? Opportunities? The good weather?

Did you know that Reiki can also be used on food? Charging your food with Reiki affects the molecules of your food in a positive and harmonious way and enhances the medicinal and nutritional properties of your meal. Eating or drinking Reiki charged food has a similar effect to a Reiki treatment.

What you see in the picture is a 750ml bottle of fire cider charged with Reiki energy. The fire cider is made during the firy Aries full moon cycle (from new moon to new moon) and contains very nutricious spices, herbs and vegetables. It is made a bit sweeter with honey from a friend, a very bee friendly bee keeper from my home town, Piacenza (Italy).

I am very excited to share with you that I will be offering full Reiki treatments at Reloadclub starting on Thursday 20th of May, every Thursday from 9 to 21!

I know this Amsterdam East hidden gem for what feels like a lifetime as I used to come here with my good friend for spa dates a long time ago. While I have been looking for a good place to start my practice, so many friends from different backgrounds pointed me to Reload Club and so there I was, meeting co-founder Monique, who walked me through a building that felt so familiar already. Same building but new energy, as Monique put it: a women temple. Sounds good, doesn't it? It looks and feels good, too. Come see yourself ☺️

The past week I have had the chance to give long distance Reiki to a few people living in different countries around the world. I was exhitant to try this out, would that really work? I find touch such an important part of Reiki work and working without that held me back. And how will that work just even on a practical level?

I must say: all sessions have been very intense. During the sessions I felt right away what was right to do, how to "touch" people that are not physically in the same room and I loved every bit of it. Every single person was asking to be held in a different way.

I got the best kind of feedback from the receivers: stories. How they felt after and the days following the session and what our Reiki sessions brought into their lives.

So yay to long distance Reiki and yes, I am available to do more sessions. You can always pm me. I will soon share a calendar for bookings both long distance and live in Amsterdam so stay tuned!

Long distance Reiki: what is it and how does it work?

This weekend I have a few long distance Reiki sessions scheduled with people who live in totally different parts of the world. A long distance session is quite a bit shorter than a regular Reiki treatment and works a bit differently. Curious about how Reiki works when you can't actually touch each other? Some practitioners may refer to a picture of the person to whom they’re sending Reiki, or they may write the person’s name on a piece of paper. But by simply thinking of the recipient while activating the distance symbol, practitioners can send Reiki to anyone, no matter where they are.

Goodmorning! So here I am, writing Invisible Giants' first post. If you are following Invisible Giants you might already know what Reiki is. Either ways, I like to start by shortly introducing the way I work with Reiki and what you can expect if you book a treatment with me.

Reiki is another name for what you might perceive as intelligent life energy (qi). It is in all of us, our bodies and our spirits and it keeps us sane and in balance. Reiki is in everything: animals, plants, all living things. Reiki treatments, sometimes referred to as energy healing, consists of moving and channeling this intelligent energy to enhance your own body's power. During a Reiki treatment, your life energy becomes stronger and travels to the parts of your body that need some extra.

What to expect?
If you book a full Reiki treatment, you can expect to be with me for 1 hour to 1 and a half hour. First we briefly introduce each other and I explain how the treatment works. Then you lay on the massage table with your clothes on, and I work on you with my hands closely above your clothed body or on top of it. We start by balancing and recharging the chakra's en we continue by channeling Reiki energy to certain places in your body. After the treatment we can take a few moments to talk about how you feel and I give you a few recommendations for the after care. If you wish to combine Reiki with either tarot reading or herbal based medicine, that is when the reading or herbal treatment will take place.
