As long as you have all kinds of ideas about yourself you will NEVER be free.

Cry about its demise if you must. I know I did.

Then after that - for the love of God: get over your selves already.

Your ideas about your self are the root cause of all you so called 'problems'. Of the WHOLE false identity problem. It IS a prison you think of as your home and you will drown inside of that room eventually. Only those that have a clear sense of how the life sucking demands of EGO abuse their mind and bodies will have a chance at this waking up thing.

The rest will fail miserably and then they will reframe it into some bs spiritual success with the word 'healing' in there somewhere. The word 'healing' is one of the most heinous terms in the vocabulary of the perpetually miserable if the whole victimhood tapdance goes unchecked.

From the awakened perspective however, you cannot fix what is not even real. 'Pain' and 'Fear' may seem related but they are strange bedfellows on the spiritual path.

While a very few in here clearly do seek it (knowingly at the detriment of their selves), most of you in here 100%, secretly do not want any part of it at all. I am certain of it! ;;)

Some don't even want to THINK about it. You have seen all the fake gurus on FB right? The esoteric solution peddlers. You have seen them. I'm also sure you have smelled the BS at the root of most spiritual practices by this point in time. Look around you. AINT NOBODY WAKING UP! ...what gives?

Spiritual Sclerosis has set in. That's when the spirit has hardened and progress is no longer possible.

While the tragedies of the Self are not real 'In Truth' (which IS real). In the dreamstate fake fears will swallow you whole. You could die in the Matrix even though it is just a simulation ;;) Simply because you refuse to admit that you have invested years, decades ..a lifetime even in a CLEAR CUT case of mistaken identity. Presuming you have had that initial first stroke of Insight or some mystical epiphany that heralded a vague call to awaken)

Time is only wasted in eternity.
The awakened know it.
The asleep do not.

Here's the most HORRENDOUS thing any Human being can hear:

"You are not real."

"You are a ghost"

"you only have X days to live"

That's actually three things but then again; WHO'S counting. ;;)

I actually know who it is that is counting. It cannot help itself. It counts down the moment it has a name. So many years. So old. So young. So far to go. So many this so little that. Pffffff...

It's Homo Calculus.

Homo Calculus is the one who killed Homo Sapiens. We are long passed that noble iteration of Man ;;). It's about counting now. Beans. Whatever. As long as the math is mathing EGO is as giddy and happy as he can be. Toiling in the mud. Pi***ng in the rain ;;) ...not seeing that it is "All Vanity and a chasing after the wind'.

The most horrendous thing a human being can hear is that he is not real.. but only before he finds that out for Himself.

It defies every condition(ing) of the mind. Every single one.

The more conditioned your mind (through no fault of your own - up to a certain point that is) the more painful it will be. BELIEVE IT.

Every dead master, EVERY good book, EVERY SINGLE murdered freedom fighter or fighter for Truth (not justice) we all killed, maimed, murdered, burned at the stake throughout 'our' SO CALLED 'history' and cast out of Maya's Palace is still alive. What was never born need not die and come back either. Enlightenment is always here; where is everyone going?

They take the hand of delusion and get comfortable in the forest of Self. COMFORT is for the weak. Lies (or living one) is for the weak or the nefarious. Both different words for Those that have nothing but FEAR. The Fear of No-Self is the mother of all Fears.

There are many paths to the Truth. None to enlightenment.

THERE IS SIMPLY NO UNIVERSE POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU.

That's not bad news. That's literal OMNIPOTENCE.

How do you not see it?

There are no 'Others'. It's ALL YOU. All of it.

The very thing you all need to pray to is YOU. lol!

The very thing they think is looking at you and judging you for being a bad boy or girl or being selfish or whatnot... The good, the bad and the ugly? mere aspects of Self not of consciouness itself. You cannot celebrate an aspect. You cannot wake up to the Self either. You can only get TRAPPED inside of it. It's HELL. From the awakened perspective. You paved para-fu***ng-dise and put up a parking lot.

Now the challenge is before you: how do you get back to a place you never even left? How? I'll tell you: SPiritual Warfare. Nukes and all. Not with 'another'. You are at war with your Self and you will be always. The awakened see no problem in it. Unless that Self tries to wage war on the Truth itself. Then it's clobbering time or "roll over and show your belly time" ;;)

Don't just concentrate on the good of Man. It is that same Man who is also 'bad'. It is that same Man that believes he dies and then goes to Heaven. Give me a break.

IT is literally your OWN FU***NG life you forfeit. For what? A couple of more rides in the Amusement park? In stead of looking for the hole in the fence? Please.

The Truth ITSELF. That thou art.

Who's above you? Who's below you? NOBODY.

I see no conflict in not knowing a damn thing.

If I see (or sense) a belief I just follow it back to its origin.
It always comes from the outside..

You don't need to 'understand' Awakening to awaken at all

The moment you stop confirming the supposed limits of your understanding is the moment it all starts to happen for you. Awakening will come the very moment you stop fighting your non-humanness. Read it again. This is fire under the ass of humanity itself. This is the purpose of its apparent 'iterative-ness.'

Your timeless and eternal nature provides you with endless chances and attempts to awaken - or fail at it!

The end of contemplating your own nature = ENLIGHTENMENT.

I keep hammering this point because it seems that folks are stuck in a mental loop but don't even notice it or actively avoid looking under their own bed as they try to look what (if anything) is under mine.... they are stuck in this mental prison of "I have to know myself before I can be myself".

No.

YOU HAVE TO BE YOURSELF TO KNOW YOUR SELF.

I know people believe I am being ..elitist about awakening. Or that I view myself as more or more properly awakened then someone else. Wrong again. There is no one out there more or less enlightened then anyone else. It's not a about the person at all. I am also not burdened at all by the restrictive nature of hierarchical viewpoints. The fact that there might be only a literal handful of awakened individuals on the planet at any one time in all of time should give anyone a sense of what I am actually talking about here. The idea of the many and the few or 'everyone should be awakened' or strive for it (like ANY school of thoughts will have you believe) does not even factor into any of it.

So what if there is only 1 of them ...or only 5? It's not a numbers game. AT ALL.

Belief is the s**t-brained version of Truth. Anyone can create one. And they do. We are ALWAYS at the cusp of 'human revolution or evolution" at all time in the world of Man. Nobody notices the continued switch and bait "here is a new insight into the same old s**t" we humans keep foisting upon each other.

They really believe that the pre-historic human, or the primitive "pre-WAHTEVER" human beings were less enlightened, capable or less intelligent then they are now. Or that their trials and tribulations where somehow inferior to the current ones. I assure you it is probably the other way around completely.

BELIEF, religion and s**t ending with '..ism' or '..ology' or '..sophy' are the McGuffins of the Dreamstate Movie. In the Dreamstate Movie the protagonist always dies in the end. 100%. But nobody questions that fact. It does not seem odd to them no matter how many times they are confronted with it.

BEHOLD the power of Maya ;;)

Religion and candy-store spirituality has made us all dumber. More re****ed. Literally.

Only a clown will make a whole religion for himself in order to become WHAT HE ALREADY IS.
Only a clown will pray or practice for absolution from HIMSELF.

pure madness.

So what if the world is not always full of the awakened? The awakened are always full of the world. ;;)

There are no cookie cutter Awakening strategies out there.
.don't let anyone tell you they have one.

It's not even about 'change' - since there is nothing you can do or believe or meditate on that will transform a 'false' self in some kind of true self. Not a damn thing.

Transcendence 'will come' on account of the incessant rejection of any and all thinking, contemplation, rumination, meditation mental/mentation in such a way that its importance wanes, moves - or is held - 'in the background' while 'what IS' inches ever closer to the foreground. So to speak.

That is why I will always maintain that anyone promoting any kind of practice as a way towards it CANNOT be enlightened him or herself because the practice itself would immediately be recognized as another hilarious attempt of mind/ego to claim the experience for itself.

There is this big misconception (or conspiracy ;;) that the process of awakening is in some way controllable, malleable or steerable. The fact of the matter is that it is all about taking your damn hands of the tiller and letting the boat steer itself.

That's it.

Or as someone kept hammering to me back in the day: "What are you pretending not to know?"

That's all you need 'to do'.

So in fact it is a not a way of doing at all; it is a way of 'being done'.
You don't have to believe me. I would rather have you don't actually because even that attitude opens up a whole can of anti-awakening worms. Belief is the main problem. Because the ego cannot and will not accept the fact that: No belief is true. It simply is not. NO BELIEF IS TRUE. How can it be? It is never NOT a believe. A place-holder for not knowing something, not seeing something or not really having something. Your believe in God is just that. A BELIEF. You do not see Him so now you have to resign to the second best thing: believing he is there. (lol). I'd rather have you accept your faith going through it such as it goes. Because you cannot take anything with you. Your 'former self' - unreal as it already is - will not make it.

After dramatic bouts of loneliness and feelings of ostracization it will slink back into the background or disappear completely. Because there is nothing to get for it anymore. Nothing to change into or 'become'. The jig is up. When once you see this reality for what it is not; you can be free from it.

Forever.

If you are so inclined you may pick it up later and try to fit into it again. But it will be an ill-fit for the most part. Because The World Of Man, once seen for what it is not, is no longer something that in any way shape or form has any bearing on what unfolds for you once you look out into the world with abiding non-dual awareness.

There is nothing for me to lose from anyone believing what I claim and there is nothing I will ever gain from those who do believe me. Or even those who have finished their journey themselves and claim I had something to do with it. I did not ;;) They were ready to pop. I can smell it on a person. That is all. The way they speak, the way they talk about their pain... it all sounds too familiar. The delicate perfume of Enlightenment preceeds their every word and lamentation. At the very best I am conveying to them an attitude that aligns with 'how it starts'.

Things will get increasingly fantastical and magical as you progress and the veil begins to lift. But you are going to be in disagreement with the Self and the entire world including your loved ones for a long time. Not many people are ready for what is seen even looking at their own family members in this 'state' (it is not a state btw) for quite some time. Now, it is all part of the process and it will get exceedingly easier as you go. But it is not for brittle spirits and the faint of heart who are dreaming about cracking this nut without even having the required hunger, the burning desire inside for it. It is no picnic. You are going to have to want it more then your so called life itself. It is not some Kumbaya journey of love and understanding. This is simply the way it is. All I offer is the Truth. Maddening and highly undesirable the more you try to analyse its cataclysmic repercussions for the Self, the Ego, the personality.. all of it.

You have all seen me argue in here that 'true enlightenment' is not what most people think it is. It’s not bliss, peace, or spiritual highs. Instead, I will describe it as “the complete annihilation of the false self.” Enlightenment, 'to me' (stay with me now ;;), is a brutally honest realization that there is no personal self, no meaning, and nothing to attain (for it). It’s not about adding something new—it’s about seeing through everything that’s false, including most spiritual teachings.

My main message is that most people don’t really want truth—they want A truth. Or: comfort. But the real Truth is uncomfortable, a devastatingly harsh piece of business to get grips with. As I said before: don't try to get to grips with it. Let it consume 'you' as it should. It is about getting out of your own way, about making room for What IS.

I am not saying these distinctly Human traits and concepts and things are 'gone' or no longer relevant or enjoyable 'after' (I'd argue they exponentially increase actually) but the process itself is not about love, peace, or unity — it's about getting to the Truth. It is not an achievement or a higher state of consciousness, but rather the absence of illusion. Enlightenment is brutal, solitary, and often unpleasant, which is why so few people actually get it or even want it.

What most people call 'spiritual growth' or 'awakening', is just ego-preservation often dressed in holy robes. We've all seen the carnival of people in here who exactly fit that description and will bust a capillary if you suggest they are actually more full of s**t then most of the people reading their crap. ;;) - The lack, absence or trivializing ones own lack of self-reflection is a hallmark of Ego. One of his best strategies to prevent its own inevitable demise a few moment longer.

I will also maintain that, in the end, ALL WILL ARRIVE. But I will also say that it will not 'matter'. Life is all about pushing you to awakening. Every birth is a traumatic experience. Those who can remember their own birth (I have n such recollection mind you but some have) will tell you all about it. The entire human endeavor is not about living... it is about 'dying'.

AKA Transcendence.

I see my own journey (as far as I have any memories of it left still) not as a gaining of wisdom, but as a stripping away of everything untrue, until nothing remained. There is no path, teacher, or system that can deliver truth—only a relentless inner drive to find what is real. My role, if that is what you want to call it, is not to guide but to provoke—to act as a "spiritual autolysis" machine. A harbinger of the self-digestion of falsehoods. My message isn’t comforting (my existence is), but it’s powerful: I got the same message and it took me all but 3 years to get on top of my so called self. The rest is not even history anymore. If you want truth you are going to have to want it at all costs, you must be willing to destroy everything you think you are.

So yeah... Enlightenment is a destructive process that shatters illusions and leaves you with nothing but what is undeniably REAL. I call it “truth-realization” rather than self-improvement for instance. I like the term a certain author coined for it: 'Untruth Unrealization' a lot better. It is extremely accurate (I am just using human terms here mind you - there is no accuracy to any word out there). But it will be a hard term to understand if you are not in fact already there ;;)

Try to get what I am claiming here. Really take it in.
There is no Self to improve. The Self is just another womb for you to eject from.

I don't offer a path to follow (there is none), but rather an unflinching mirror that dares the less brittle reader to look deeply and honestly at what it is they truly are.

Now, where did I put that crack-pipe....

A conversation I had recently with some curious, but barely serious seeker on Reddit.
He literally asked me:

"This enlightenment, can you give it to me? "

I could not resist the urge to give 'that' answer

"I can give it to you. But can you take it?"

Seeker: "I can’t know until you give it!"

Do you now?
Or is that just another belief?

ALL IS ILLUSION - except that which knows it to be so my friends.

The whole thing is about finding out what is REAL. No matter the cost. Many who dwell in spiritual groups and clubs and sit in Satsang until their balls are flat and blue actually only want to TALK about and GUSH over making the ultimate sacrifice.

But are you willing to make it yourself?

You really want to lose the world just to gain ..oh, I don' know just THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE ;;) That is what I am speaking of. This is the literal paradox of Awakening. You forfeit the dream of Self in order to 'become' what you already are. The Master of all that you survey.

The Alpha and the Omega all rolled into ONE.

The 'right' answer to the question "Can you take it" does not really matter as long as it is not a resounding no. Or one of helplessness. but a YES or, a "let me be the judge of that" or.... "I do not care - hit me with it". Do you see?

He goes on:

"I love to hear the perspectives of others to see if they align with mine, but also to expand mine. Unleash the Fury..."

I'm sure you do. But it is not the 'love to hear s**t' that sets one on a course to the edge of the fake Self. It is more akin to madness! The fever-like clawing desperate madness that will come from NOT WANTING TO BE A LIE anymore.

Nobody can teach you that.

It is an invitation to transcend. But hey; go ahead.. Maybe window shop some more on the 'outside of you'. I'm sure SOMEONE out there will be happy and deliriously eager to do or frame all your awakening FOR you. ;;)

Your intent should be such that you want this thing more then your so-called life itself. That means that most of the time, and for quite some time, you are really not going to be this Happy Camper. I will often suggest that some sort of depression is a key factor IN it and a key indicator OF it.

They body itself is trying to reject the mind's BS. That which is added to that which is already complete... aka 'Your' BS'. It feels incredibly compromised by the life sucking demands of Ego. But as long as you WANT to be a the captain of your body (and not the captain of your soul, so to speak) or - even worse - believe you are the ship itself ...al this awakening stuff is going to be a waste of effort.

'Depression' (I heard someone call it 'DeepRest') is incredibly misunderstood. A spiritual procrastinator cannot even fathom any kind of pain or discomfort being an actual precursor to anything but more or prolonged misery. He would rather hold hands, circle jerk around and sing Kumbaya in some incense smelling group setting. Because his mind is conditioned! These cats all just talk about going to The Promised Land ...one day. Maybe. They are going somewhere, in a group. By bus maybe. Holding hands and singing songs about love & understanding and peace & harmony... Children's songs. But who is driving that dream-bus? Is there even a driver in the front seat? Did anyone bother to look? ;;)

Don't get me wrong I love songs
but you cannot sing your Self away.

Human Adulthood is where it is at. You grow up and then you fight against the dying of the light. OR, you perish in the womb of Self.

If you are not RIPE. Like a fu***ng tomato that is ready to pop... not even Nisargadatta freaking Maharaj himself (arguably the best to ever do it) would have been able to make you sit up and take notice. He would have sent you home in 2 seconds. "Keep inquiring" or on his more fiery days "You are not a serious seeker! Go away. Make room for someone else!" ;;)

When you find yourself distracted, it probably points back to a lack of intent again. Because that is EXACTLY what it is. Most who talk like they know what's up with Awakening in some club-setting or social media group are simply not even there. Look at their writing. They just packed their bags, put them in the hallway and then they reclined back on their couches and start talking about knowing all about a place they have never even been to or seen themselves.

Their soul was never on fire, yearning to be free.

They are in that other phase. Where they want to mimic resurrected Jesus.. not bloodied Jesus throwing stuff around the temple and hitting people upside the head with a piece of rope (I kid you not).

They fear being misunderstood by the masses where embracing that fear would be far more conducive. Jesus - let's assume for a moment such a man existed (it is really not that much of a stretch imho) - was an angry mo********er for quite some time. The church goers don't want to hear or read about that part. And the Awakened pretenders just want to be Jesus without all the madness, anger, violence, abdication, solitude, false arrogance, betrayal and days long naked cross hanging..

In their cosmic arrogance they think they can skip the part that actually does IT.. that kicks the Self to the curb in a very final way. ....and so they flick through some of these 2000 year old smelly rule books written by those who's defining characteristic is that they too DID NOT make it. They too did not get. They could only write about it. They died like dogs. Pardon the expression; dogs. ;;) Barking and spitting verses about some mystical s**t some guy said.. All their actions just point to them not understanding it. At all.

"There is something to his words but damned if if we know what...."

The apostles.. a bunch of confused men (save for 1, maybe 2 of them) who have relegated an entire populace to pouring over his every word in utter confusion and bafflement. Please. The Bible is the best marketing book ever written. ;;) But what if there is really no mystery at all to the story within it? Or the dude mentioned, or the metaphors given?

What if He was just like You and found out that everything is available for the DIRECT Knowing?

So to my point;
Most people in groups; they really don't want THE answer. They just want answerS. Answers that will enable them to develop coping mechanism for dealing with all the dreaming within the dream. Lucid dreaming? Not so much.

Lucidity is Ego's worst nightmare.

There would be nothing to do for it in Truth.. and without dream-efforts the ego withers and dies. AS IT SHOULD. But no. They want to be OF the dream, FROM it. At least in that state.. that status of QUO they can aat least PLAY the role of some kind of elevated being. Have some Savior Syndrome going ;;) Basically any answer will do in that regard, hence we have all these off-shoots of 'liberation' and squirrely religions, schools of literal thought, PRACTICES that are actually just the same old dogmatic ego-traps all over again.

Someone who's soul is on fire does not want answers at all.
He wants all the questions to come to an end.

The guy continues to push me:

"Where’s your summary of Enlightenment?
Perhaps you don’t have one!"

Some will clamor for summaries of Awakening from the cradle to the grave. Other's will be busy actually trying to waking up right now. They don't care for some 'AHA Erlebnis' at the moment of Death. It is useless.

It's been a while my friends

Of course I never left. I wasn't even here to begin with ;;)

I want to talk about EGO DEATH today and what better way to talk about EGO DEATH then taking some input from people coming at me on Reddit trying to get their egos to get a handle on 'ego'.

Nah... More like the death of delusion.

No. It 'rejects' nothing with 'nothing'. ;;)
The bitter futility of it has to be tasted.

Whatever 'idea' you might have about the ego and what you should do about it, is not going to get you to 'the next level' at all.

Ego Death itself is a a continuation of a false story.... a show EGO will put up for ITSELF if you let it. Then ego will say "I have died" and no one sees the hilarity of what is actually going on there.

Ego has no substance. You deal with it on that level you have a shot.

As long as you believe you are the mind, you are the individual and not the ghost in the machine you are fighting ego on street level ....in its own neighbourhood.

As Ripley said, when dealing with xenomorphs: "you have to nuke the entire site from orbit". It's the only way to be sure ;;) In the same feign waking up is Nuking What You Have Come to Believe Is Your Life. While you have to experience the futility of rolling around in virtual dirt with ego for your (so called) Self; the bottom line will be the same: In the end you are not going to win a guerrilla warfare with a shape shifting mirage.

You do not ....you CANNOT win a god damn thing by 'defeating' ego. The winner that rises from defeating ego is Ego 2.0. You have defeated a mirage

What has been accomplished? How are you going to reward the winner? Who is that winner? Ego once over. ONLY by REALIZING its nature (or lack thereof actually) are you going to handle it.

Ego 'dies' on account of what is able to ignore it completely.

This is why I say; if you see some kind of moral man, some 'love thy neighbour as thyself' parrot, trying to sell you 'ethics' or 'codes of conduct' steeped in some arbitrary dogma in the context of awakening; you know you are dealing with an abomination of ego once again.

The out and out spiritual folks, the ones who are very busy with projecting this image of a spiritual person, a balanced PERSON outward are actually more lost then most. Spiritual Sclerosis is a real affliction. Savior Syndrome is real affliction. Moral Madness is a a real virus. Spiritual Ego's are Maya's favourite puppets! When once you see something is truly not there; you will never try to fight it or go looking for it ever again .

There is no winner inside of you. Only a loser!

What you all need 'to do' is GET LOST. And STAY lost. Awakening turns you into a Goner. A 'Never Not Here'.. end of the line. There is no self to welcome you into Truth.

The whole fighting ego narrative can be said to be conducive to awakening UP TO A POINT. You need to see that point to move beyond it. It is the only way to - well there is no other way of putting it - FIGURATEVILY claim victory.. victory without a winner! A virtual journey to a place you never even left of course ;;)

This is the paradox.

And that point itself is barely the beginning of the road. It is the fighting of Ego that actually continues to CONFIRM ego. You need to see the traps Maya has laid and have the courage to step into them and ignore the consequences of that. Because there are none. Not really.

Consequences are Egoic concepts as well.

IF EGO IS NOT REAL then you cannot defeat it.

YOU SIMPLY STOP FIGHTING WHAT IS PERFECTLY PSSIBLE FOR ANYONE OUT THERE TO ACKNOWLEDGED IS REALLY NOT THERE. But we all love our ego's. We just want to love it to DEATH. In the end ego will go as far as feign its own death ..and as you sleep you will believe death is coming. And in your dreams you will die MANY TIMES OVER .

Seemingly.

Unless of course you (more often then not) rudely awaken from the whole Mickey Mouse Movie being cranked out by 'not you'.. Science is lying to you as well. life is not seemingly stretching out in every direction. There is no mystery at all. Everything is available for direct seeing, direct knowing if only you would take of the VR headset called EGO.

'Life' - to me - was like a nightmare that had to be endlessly mitigated by a dream creature. It's so tiresome. And FALSE. And a waste of life. If I had not spent several decades in this delusion I would not have this certainty either. This too is the paradox. There is no coming into being with some measure of pain either. Death does not hurt. BIRTH does. Inspecting 's**t that is not real' (or even 'your' s**t) does.

Do you see?

Truth that does not threaten Ego is no fu***ng Truth at all my friends. Get lost. And STAY lost.

'Nirvana' does not exist as anything other than just another experience. It is an imaginary place you arrive at when you believe you escape from another imaginary place.

ALL experiences will have one thing in common: their impermanence. When attempting to point at something permanent however, no experience (and no heaven or hell) and no 'reaching a place, state of is going to fly as an analogy. Anyway I have already digressed... - that was quick - ....I Just want to POINT OUT the nonsense inherent in all this permanent bliss talk. There is no such thing as permanence at all once you venture outside of consciousness. And that is what this place is. ALL OF IT.

You are having (or had) an experience. Whether you call it mystical or not is completely irrelevant as well. In the context of 'waking up' it has no relevance. And I do mean NONE WHATSOEVER.

There is no such thing as a 'legit' teacher.

Having or not having a tattoo is indeed not in any way indicative of what the truth of a person is. It is just another story that is literally printed on top of it. Stories mean only mean something as long as the person believes he is a person anyway.. yup...I digress.

Still: There is no such thing as a 'legit' teacher. Even if there was: How would you know what a legit teacher is? When is he non-legit? And in what way? 'Legitimacy' does not exist. It does not transcend consensus opinion, preference.

IMHO, what is legit - just like 'what is cool' - cannot be commodified. Still it happens all the time.

As long as you believe that the teacher knows something and you do not, how are you able to vet him in any way? You simply cannot. The teacher himself cannot claim to be legit. If he would have actually finished his work he would have awakened from the very idea that there is something to teach anyway ;;).

The teacher/student dichotomy is a trap in the context of awakening.
