A doula assists at both home births and hospital births. She is there to support you and your partner as good as possible. She is the one face you know and will not leave your side during labour. A doula supports you in taking your own decisions and will encourage you to ask for what you know you really need. By using different techniques, such as acupressure, massage and aromatherapy, I'll help you and your partner to cope with the intensity of birthing your baby. By being a prenatal yoga teacher as well as a birth doula I can support pregnant women at any stage during their pregnancy and ofcourse during birth.

Thanks for all your lovely flowers, chocolates, bottles of wine and most of all: your presence. It was lovely seeing old and new clients, kids, Doula's and caretakers all gathered together! We forgot to take a group picture... But hey: I was too busy hugging you all.
