It has been 3 years of BPA Amsterdam and we are celebrating. After 15 years of “The Movement Practice” our studio turned “BASI Pilates Academy Amsterdam” in 2023. A name fitting for a studio that values knowledge, growth and high quality Pilates.

Pilates through Pregnancy & Beyond / Advanced Pilates Education

This April in Amsterdam, a 3 day CEC course with Principle BASI Faculty Ashley Ritchie
Schedule: Friday – Sunday 10 – 12 April 2026 | 9:00-18:00

PTPB will take you through:
* The 3 trimesters, and the “Red Flag” conditions during pregnancy.
* Hormonal affects from pregnancy, birthing and feeding the new born.
* Post pregnancy training protocols and release techniques.
* Diastasis Recti, what it is and how to treat it.
* Pelvic floor recovery.
* Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates repertoire on mat, with props and equipments.

Organized by BASI Pilates Academy Amsterdam.
Course is open to Mat and Comprehensive teachers of all Pilates methods and BASI students.

After this weekend we say goodbye to our Westerpark location. It’s been an eventful year with many courses and trainings.

Slowly all we are finding our new way at Oud-West studio again. But…as of 15 December all classes and activities are back at our BASI home at Korte Schimmelstraat 18.
