🇳🇱Waarom ziet mijn neus er op foto’s zo anders uit dan in de spiegel?
Ik hoor deze vraag heel vaak. En eerlijk is eerlijk... het is een volkomen terechte vraag.
Het antwoord is eigenlijk best simpel: camera’s liegen een beetje.
Vooral bij selfies. Je telefoon heeft een groothoeklens, je houdt hem dicht bij je gezicht en je neus bevindt zich precies in het midden. Dat zorgt altijd voor vervorming. De neus lijkt groter, soms schever, en soms asymmetrischer dan hij in werkelijkheid is.
Dat ligt niet aan jouw neus. Dat ligt aan de lens van je camera.
Ook de belichting speelt een rol. En het feit dat een foto één enkel moment bevriest terwijl je in het echte leven altijd beweegt, lacht en praat.
Dus als je neus er op selfies anders uitziet dan in de spiegel dat is volkomen normaal.
En wat ook zo is: de perfecte neus bestaat niet.
Wat wij doen? Wij zorgen ervoor dat neuzen er mooier en minder opvallend uitzien en meer in balans zijn met je gezicht. Zo’n 80% van de dingen waar jij je aan stoort? Dat kunnen we verhelpen.

Deze leuke dame stoorde zich al vanaf haar puberteit aan haar neus. Logisch, want neuzen beginnen pas te groeien rond je 12de, daarvoor is ze meestal lief en klein🌹

Als je naar haar keek, overheerste haar neus haar gezicht en nam de aandacht weg van haar fijne, mooie gezicht.

Nu, zowat een jaar na de ingreep, heeft ze een onopvallende neus, die natuurlijk oogt & zonder zichtbare littekens✨
Nu zie je haar mooie fijne gelaat! Dit is de neus die ze had moeten hebben😊

Revision Rhinoplasty✨🌹
After a previous surgery elsewhere, this kind lady came to me for a second chance.

Gevoelens van angst, wantrouwen en twijfel zijn begrijpelijkerwijs aanwezig.

is an amazing organization and it truly is an honor to work for them here, helping children with a cleft lip & palate.
With them we bring hope & change lives!
And there is nothing more humbling than helping people in need.

Today is screening day where we check&see all potential patients with a cleft lip &/or palate. By the end of the week we hope to have helped 100+ kids. Thankful to again be a part of this truly amazing experience✨🌹❤️
