Het frustreert haar, vertelt internist-oncoloog Winette van der Graaf, dat ze als arts haar jongvolwassen patiënten (AYA's) niet altijd de specifieke zorg kan bieden, die ze nodig hebben. "Iedereen boven de achttien krijgt - bij wijze van spreken - dezelfde behandeling als zijn oma van 80." It is our belief that in unity we will find strength. We are dedicated in finding solutions for taste alteration caused by cancer and cancer treatment. Approximately 75% of those treated for cancer, encounter some form of taste alteration. By partnering with companies, such as Danone Nutricia Research we hope to find solutions faster, and more efficient. Every cancer patient deserves to have a healthy meal AND TO ENJOY IT!
