URGENT: Help Save Dartington Forest Garden!

Martin Crawford’s incredible Forest Garden is a 31yr old research & demonstration project teaching & inspring generations of practitioners. Now, Dartington Hall Trust is refusing to renew his tenancy, threatening this world-renowned ecological site.

Anna’s Tuin & Ruigte is een sociaal en educatief permacultuurproject met een moestuin, voedselbos, verftuin, bij- & vlindertuin en een groot deel ruigte. De tuin van 1 hectare is altijd openbaar toegankelijk voor iedereen. Een aantrekkelijk groengebied waar Amsterdammers de natuur beleven, elkaar ontmoeten en kennis opdoen over stadslandbouw.

Vandalisme
Helaas hebben wij de laatste tijd weer veel last van vandalisme: herhaaldelijk worden er planten vernield, inbraken gepleegd, vuurtjes gestookt, en recent zelfs deuren en tafels besmeurd. Dit tot ontsteltenis en verdriet van de rond 50 vrijwilligers die met toewijding en enthousiasme dit stukje stadsnatuur onderhouden.

Wordt vriend of donateur
Voor een klein bedrag per jaar kun je Anna’s tuin al helpen om de oplopende kosten te tackelen. Of adopteer v/a 1m2 voedselbos en draag substantiëel bij aan dit mooie duurzaamheidsproject.

☯️Kidney 1 - bubbling spring

Standing on the earth, spreading my toes, feeling my feet on the ground. If I were a tree, the earth would be at my waist, the roots of my lower body move into the earth to stabilise and nourish me. ☯️ Kidney 1 - Yong Quan - Bubbling Spring. Debra Katz ( Characters of Wisdom) calls this ‘A burst of vibrant spring water’ . I feel this vibrancy from Kidney 1 up to Ming Men where I imagine stoking the fire of ‘The Gate of Vitality’, its power spreads through my whole Ki field.

With a receiver, I nestle my thumbs into Bubbling Spring. I remember the potential of movement from my own practice. Settling into my hara to observe, extending my spine to perceive……. I wait.
