Gut Research group is an Amsterdam-based Research group of research fellows, students, GI researchers and physicians, associated to the Academic Medical Center at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Gut Research lab aims at bridging basic science, clinical practice, and drug target finding. Conveniently located at the Tytgat Institute for GI and Liver Research in Amsterdam, research efforts aim at the following themes:

- Innate immunity and medical nutrition in the area of functional and inflammatory bowel diseases.
- Epigenetics of myeloid immune cells and epithelia.
- Identification of new treatment targets
