From the 6th floor of this building in the summer of 2018 I enjoyed the view over Amsterdam city, the Sunrise and Sunset, the people on their bikes, the clouds and the A10 while living in a enclosed chemo bubble. This ugly concrete building served me well, it felt safe in a weird way. There was Lots of tears and laughter, good food and bad food, anger and gratefulness and so much more!! I’m sending lots of love and strength to the person - warrior who is looking out of that same window right now. Especially during these crazy corona times, where having visitors is not always possible. Today I had my checkup and still all good, so celebrated with morning coffee! # @ De Baarsjes
