Well hello there!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Around the time I went silent I got sick, which coincided inconveniently with a few days off I took to host my awesome nephew #2 for his first visit (we have a lot of niblings, this is the 2nd oldest). When I had any energy at all I was trying to spend it with him.

We did take a lovely trip to the Rhine and Mosel valleys to look at castles, including Elst Castle (this one). I started feeling better after that and was back to massaging clients but as he was still here, again, extra time was spent hanging out with him. As he's now in Paris on a mini-excursion, I am trying to catch up!

If you've been waiting to hear from me on ANYTHING, I'm doing my best. Email me (preferred) or DM me if you don't hear from me by Friday.

I finally figured out my label maker!

Now, I’ve neatly labeled my perfect pots of warming balm (think homemade tiger balm) and healing salve for wounds and burns. They were just sitting around unlabeled before, but now they look so much more professional! 😊

Tok sen is an ancient technique from northern Thailand that I've been using in my practice for only a few years.

It looks a little scary, but it's not painful (and does not generally go any closer to the ankle than the picture shows). A wooden hammer and chisel are used to tap along the trenches between muscles to help remove blockages deeper in the body. There are slightly different ways to hold the tools to get more and less intense impacts, and the sound of it can be really nice as well.
