Voor het internationale congres zijn we een
crowdfunding gestart.
Veel collega's willen komen studenten en zeer ervaren collegae, maar... de vlucht verblijf en congres kosten zijn voor anderen uit bv Cuba, India, Afrika, Brazilie echt niet te doen.
Velen vragen korting, maar ook wij moeten voor elke gast een serieus bedrag betalen. De badge, organisatie koffie thee lunch, techniek kosten zijn sinds corona nog wat hoger dan het al was.

Daarom deze crowdfunding ter ondersteuning van de collegae die we zo graag hier hebben om van hen te leren en willen ondersteunen. Je kunt al 5 euro doneren, we zijn echt met alles blij!

Wat een prachtig document de film: 'Homeopathy, de film'!

De film toont hoe subtiel en krachtig tegelijk de homeopathische behandeling kan zijn. Allemaal mensen die zijn vastgelopen in de reguliere systemen en dankzij homeopathische behandeling hun leven weer terug kregen.

Een van mijn grote wensen voor 2025 en verder is de uitdaging aangaan om aan te tonen dat gezond blijven de kunst is.

Natuurlijk is een open hart operatie heel knap vakwerk.
Maar hoe knap is het om te voorkomen dat iemand zover komt??

From 14-17 May 2025, LMHI will celebrate 100 years of Joy of Homeopathy during a 4-day congress in the beautiful city of Utrecht, located in the heart of the Netherlands.

This overview of systematic reviews highlights the growing use of Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine (CAVM) and the need for more rigorous evaluation of its clinical effectiveness. The AMSTAR 2 evaluation ranked two homeopathy reviews as high-quality (out of the 38) providing reliable evidence, including one study showing the effectiveness of homeopathy in preventing diarrhoea in pigs.

The study aimed to assess the quality of systematic reviews on homeopathy, acupuncture, and phytotherapy in veterinary medicine and map reliable evidence from randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and controlled clinical trials (CCTs). 🔬

Seven systematic reviews covering animal species such as dogs, cats, horses, cattle, pigs, and poultry were evaluated. Homeopathy had 38 RCTs/CCTs, acupuncture had 35, and phytotherapy had 171.

Reviews of acupuncture and phytotherapy were rated as low quality, limiting conclusions about their effectiveness. The findings emphasise the need for high-quality systematic reviews of CAVM practices to establish reliable clinical evidence. 🔖
