In early April 2025, the 8th International Conference on NVR took place in Amsterdam, featuring inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and valuable connections.
For those who couldn’t attend — or want to know more about the conference — we’ve created an online platform where you can watch recordings of selected keynotes and workshops at your own pace.
Among the featured sessions are contributions from renowned experts such as Haim Omer, Eliane Wiebenga, Eli Lebowitz, Kathelijne van Dongen, Dr Declan Coogan, Eileen Lauster, Martin Lemme, Michaela Fried and Willem Beckers

By making this content available online, we hope to inspire even more professionals with the insights and energy shared during this event. We want to offer online access to the video-registrations for a friendly price of € 99,-

We decided to donate the full profit of this to 2 organizations that have contributed to our conference and that really deserve our support:
1. UWC Maastricht, United World College Maastricht: A unified school and community within a global movement in transforming education. UWC Maastricht brings together young people from all walks of life to work together towards peace and a sustainable future.
2. Bridges for Hope and Peace: Bridges for hope and peace is an international global NGO that supports psychosocial involvement in conflict-prone settings (among them: Gaza). They offer training of nonviolent resistance and connecting authority, and always look for possible ways out of spiralling violence.

about the “call for participation”:
1. We have been able to postpone our meeting in which we are going to make a selection, so we give you all one more week to think about a proposal for a workshop! The deadline for submission is now September 22nd 2024.
2. We realised that making a short video is a big effort for the presenters, so we have decided to skip that request. We are happy if you send a lively description of your subject and ideas for presenting in the form for submission.
We are looking forward to your contributions and will let you know in the 2nd week of Octobre weather your workshop has been selected.

Our theme is courage – the courage to say no and stand firm against unacceptable behavior. While kindness and compassion are essential, true Nonviolent Resistance also demands resilience and determination.

We invite everyone who feels like it and is interested in actively contributing te the conference; send us a proposal for a workshop. Share your stories, research, and insights. Whether you are an expert or a new voice from a new country, we would like to hear from you.
