TwinOxide Tabs provide a simple and convenient method for the preparation of a 0.1% chlorine dioxide solution (1,000 ppm ClO2), generated in water with a TwinOxide Component A tablet and a Component B tablet.

The TwinOxide Tabs package contains 12 tablets (6 Component A tablets and 6 Component B tablets), tweezers, scissors, and a 100 ml plastic ‘dropper’ bottle for the preparation and dispensing of the 0.1% TwinOxide chlorine dioxide solution. The amount of TwinOxide 0.1% ClO2 solution to be added to the water depends on the volume and quality of water to be treated.

TwinOxide is a solid two-component product to generate a stable chlorine dioxide solution at 0.3% strength with a high purity, so no traces of free chlorine.

For the high efficiency of TwinOxide, only a very low amount of chemistry is needed. With 0.2 ppm (0.2 mg/liter) of TwinOxide, you are able to kill ALL micro-organisms in regular water with a very short contact time. This means that with 1 liter of TwinOxide, you can treat 15 m³ of water!

Salmonella is one of the most common causes of foodborne illness. The most common cause of human Salmonella infection is the consumption of poultry and poultry products, like eggs. Disinfection is the only method of allowing salmonella prevention.

The active ingredient of the biocide TwinOxide 0.3% Solution is chlorine dioxide. This ingredient is effective against Salmonella.
