Medische basiskennis diploma gehaald!
Op naar de vergoeding voor shiatsu therapie, zodat mijn sessies deels vergoed worden en jullie voordeliger zijn.

Het was echt een pittige 9 maanden maar ik ben echt tevreden en trots en dat ik deze studie heb afgerond. Het menselijk lichaam is echt wonderlijk en magisch, zelfs in het westerse medische perspectief. En nu kan ik lichamelijke en psychische klachten beter begrijpen en ze beter vergelijken met de Chinese geneeskunde, maar ook zien wanneer er mogelijk eerst andere hulp of onderzoeken nodig zijn.

Wat een eer om direct van de bron van Zen Shiatsu te mogen leren! Hier leraar en vader Shizuto Masunaga in het werk in de jaren 70/80. Dit weekend weer een schat aan rijkdom van kennis en verhalen en demos mogen zien van zoon Haruhiko Masunaga, de eigenaar van de Zen Shiatsu school in Japan en uitdrager van de Zen Shiatsu kennis die zijn vader ontwikkelde uit de duizend jaar oude kennis.

Erg dankbaar en vol inspiratie om deze parels mee te nemen in de behandelingen 🙏🏻
Haruhiko Masunaga liet zo elegant en moeiteloos zien hoe schouderklachten, rugklachten, elleboogklachten met meridiaan behandeling en manipulaties en rotaties kunnen worden verlicht en veranderen, verholpen!

Loop je zelf ook tegen kortdurende klachten of al wel chronische klachten aan? Kom langs en ik kijk wat ik voor je kan betekenen.

The second edition of the Amsterdam Esalen massage workshop is coming! Saturday the 14th & Sunday the 15th of June will be the next workshop given by Nina Ottenheym.

INNERLIJK VUURTJE OPSTOKEN
Het weer is omgeslagen en de ochtenden zijn koud.
Het oogstseizoen, tijd om te genieten van de overvloed van wat de zon ons geeft. De zon heeft ons ook innerlijk gesterkt en kracht gegeven voor de donkere dagen die komen gaan. Om de donkerte buiten en binnen in ons te ontmoeten en de 'draken' te temmen (denk aan slechte gewoontes, somberheid, depressieve gevoelens).

Met deze omslag naar koude dagen is het goed om je warm te kleden. Enkels, nek en ook je onderrug warm houden helpt om gezond te blijven. Zo kan je lichaam beter in balans blijven, zeker als je bijvoorbeeld al verkouden bent.

Warm eten helpt volgens de Chinese Geneeskunde om het lichaam te verwarmen en dat kost minder energie als koud eten. Denk aan verwarmende soepen, stoofpotten, en bijvoorbeeld je favoriete havermout als ontbijt.

Dan kan je innerlijke vuurtje ook lekker branden en je energievoorraad goed aanvullen!

INTROSUCING JIVAN VAN BEEK

Jivan is a shiatsu therapist who studied under Joyce Vlaarkamp at the Zen Shiatsu school in Amsterdam. She is passionate about the whole body and the holistic view of health and healing. Esalen massages are a special addition to her therapy offer, which she gives in her home practice in Castricum, the Netherlands.

Jivan is passionate about meeting people with warmth and loving awareness, to listen to the whole person and see what the energy (body) needs to bring more balance and support health and happiness. Her background in Chinese Medicine, Art therapy and holistic massage give her work a well of wisdom to tap from.
