Ik verhuisde van Kaapstad naar Nederland om de praktijk van mijn goede vriendin en collega Renee Heetland in Delft over te nemen. Body Stress Release is a non-therapeutic, complementary health technique has assisted hundreds of people in their path to restored vitality and optimal health. Body Stress Release was founded in South Africa in 1981 and is now practiced in the Africa, Europe, UK, Japan, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. Body Stress Release is suitable for all ages, from the elderly to toddlers and babies. It is a gentle, highly effective technique where we locate and release locked in muscle tension i.e. During a consultation I take a full case history, making notes of past accidents, fractures and operations, as well as establishing what the client is experiencing at present. Whilst you are lying down, fully clothed. I will conduct light pressure tests (mostly along your spine), to determine exactly where the tension is located. I use your feet as a ‘monitor’ that helps me see the body’s reaction to the pressure test. Then, by applying a gentle, precise pressure to the affected areas, your body is encouraged to “release” the stored tension. Note: Body Stress Release is not a diagnosis or treatment of any condition or disease. It is concerned ONLY with locating and releasing stored tension, so that the body is assisted in its ability to maintain and heal itself. Restoring the body’s communication system is a process and could take time. Some chronic ailments that have seen improvement:

Our is about a young boy's struggle with Cerebral Palsy and how BSR helped improve his standard of living.
*Darren has athetosis, a slow, continuous, involuntary writhing movement that prevents maintenance of a stable posture. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at age 3, which is also when he was first brought to BSR. He couldn't lift his head when lying on his back, his knees were constantly touching, his feet splayed, and he could not unclench his hands.
After one session, he started rolling over onto his stomach and leopard-crawling. He also started making sounds, but he still struggled with seizures. Slowly, with regular BSR, the seizures became less and the understandable words more. His hands unclenched, and he started being able to hold things, but still suffered from seizures. After two years, he had almost no seizures and could talk quite well, as well as use his arms and legs.

Our :
*Emily’s short life had been marred by health problems. She had had an operation on her trachea when she was two-and-a-half, and she was scheduled for heart surgery at age three, in three month’s time. Her mother’s desperate search for something to help her child brought her to BSR. The practitioner describes Emily as very small for her age, thin & weak, with black rings under her eyes. She was afraid and he had to check her while she sat on her mother’s lap. Tension was found and released throughout her spine. At the second appointment she was willing to sit still, making it easier to carry out the releases. Her mother reported that Emily’s bowel movements were black, sticky & foul smelling and that she no longer had dark rings under her eyes. Three weeks later, on the third visit, she came running up the driveway to the practice. She looked very different. She had put on weight and her mother said her appetite was good. This time Emily was eager to lie down on the BSR couch. Two months passed before her next session. The little girl who came running in had transformed – she had grown in height and looked strong and healthy. Her mother shared some wonderful news: Emily had been to the heart specialist for her pre-surgery check-up, and he had decided that the operation was no longer necessary.
