A first glimpse of the ESID 2026 scientific programme!

Under the theme “Translational Immunology Beyond Boundaries,” ESID 2026 in Maastricht will explore the full scope of immunodeficiencies and inborn errors of immunity, from fundamental discovery to real-world patient impact.

The programme will feature keynote and plenary sessions on topics such as immune metabolism, host–pathogen interactions, AI in IEI, and clinical translation, alongside parallel sessions focused on diagnostics, autoinflammation, cell and gene therapy, and where immunology meets haematology.

You can also look forward to meet-the-expert sessions, the ESID Educational Day, dedicated INGID and IPOPI sessions, e-posters, industry symposia, and many opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues.

What does ESID 2026 stand for?

For our community, it means moving beyond silos—bringing basic science, clinical research, and real-world impact together to truly move the field forward.

As Professor Mirjam van der Burg, ESID 2026 Meeting Chair, shares in her welcome message:

“𝐀𝐭 𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲.”
