đPsilosybin retreat - Connect to your nature - 20 april
When I was 20 years old â now 20 years ago :) â I traveled to South America for the first time. It was there that I experienced a deep connection with nature. I felt profoundly at home. The people I met spoke a language my heart understoodâone of simplicity, purity, spirituality, and deep reverence for the Earth.
That journey sparked a lifelong love affair with the natural world and indigenous wisdom. I wasnât really looking or searching for it, I just followed my curiosity. I traveled across the continent, immersed myself in its beauty, and was invited by local communities and shamans to experience plant medicines such as ayahuasca in Colombia and Brazil, wachuma, pe**te, and psilocybin mushrooms in Mexico. Back then, it wasnât trendyâ it was sacred and part of a way of living for many locals. I didnât speak about it much, only to those who were truly curious, because words canât capture the depth of these inner journeys. But they transformed me and deepened my connection to PachamamaâMother Earth.
Each time I returned to the Netherlands, the contrast became sharper. I saw how many people in the Western world had become disconnectedâfrom the wisdom of their own bodies, their emotions, the rhythms and elements of nature, nourishing food, and the knowledge carried by ancient healing traditions. Something deep inside me stirred. I could no longer ignore the quiet voice urging me to walk a different path. I left the office life behind and followed a growing curiosity for natural ways of livingâways that nourish, ground, balance, and reconnect us to the essence of who we are. It became my calling to guide others back home to themselves, and to the Earth.
