In the UK, it’s Mother’s Day.

Is it a commercially-driven day? I tend to think so.

For those who choose not to be mothers, for those who have lost their mothers, for those who have lost their child, for those who can’t be mothers, it can be insensitive to say “Happy Mother’s Day”.

I prefer to tell people, whoever they are, whatever they mean to me, how much I love them, whenever I feel the urge, and whenever I think somebody needs to hear it.

I don’t think we need a special day to tell people how much we appreciate them, admire them, love them. The sentiment is nice, encouraging people to share some love though!

We should say it more often, not just once a year!

Proud to be a part of this beautiful group of yogis, who share their learnings through yoga in a donations-based class, for charities who have helped so many people through their battles.

Our monthly by-donation classes raise funds for families experiencing significant trauma. We flow to raise funds for parents who have lost children, families affected by cancer, young children who have lost parents, families experiencing infertility, and other families who need support in traumatic
