🌾 Pose 1: Anjaneyasana Baddha Hasta

“Nurture your Spleen · Nourish your Blood Qi”
A devotional low lunge, back foot held — awakening the Earth within.
Chin Mudra gently stimulates Lung and Large Intestine — the Metal Element waiting at the threshold.
A bow toward what’s coming: the clarity of autumn rising from Earth’s rich center.

🌊 Pose 2: Half Split Pose (Ardha Hanumanasana)

“Yielding into Water · Held by the Earth”
This shape supports the sacred balance between Earth and Water.
Earth gives Water its riverbeds — containing the flow of Jing, our deepest life force.
Soften into the stream of yourself, and be held.

🤎 Pose 3: Hanumanasana – Modification

“Embrace Where You Are · Dare to Rest In It”
Support yourself with the props you need.
This is the ground of change.
A supported split for those in sacred transition — between what was and what’s becoming.

🌿 Pose 4: Hanumanasana – Forward Fold Variation

“Surrender to the Earth · Rest into Humbleness”
The leap of Hanuman, not upward — but inward.
A deep bow to gravity, to the pulse of nourishment rising from below.
Through this surrender, all elements are brought home to center.

(EN) Earth — Returning to Your Center
Earth marks the transition between seasons.
She is the center, the resting place — where we return to ourselves.
In this Indian summer, she invites us to slow down, nourish ourselves,
and realign with our Yi — our deep inner intention.
🌾 What unconscious shadow thoughts still influence your direction?
🌾 What do you take in — and what do you wisely leave outside of you, because it doesn’t nourish you?
When Earth is in balance,
we experience inner calm, quiet satisfaction, kindness, and timeless presence.
We can offer care without losing ourselves.
Sensuality, harmony, and compassion arise naturally.
Out of balance,
we may become overly worried or needy, caught in overthinking, fatigue, brain fog, or digestive discomfort.
Ways to nourish your Earth element with care:
– Eat warm, regular, and gently sweet meals.
– Choose grounding foods: pumpkin, sweet potato, fennel seed, and root vegetables.
– Give yourself space and rest — especially if you care deeply for others.
– Connect to the Earth: walk barefoot, sit against a tree, lie on warm sand or grass, or simply rest on a stone.
Earth is linked to the color golden yellow, the Spleen (Yin) and Stomach (Yang) organs, and the digestive process that transforms nourishment into life energy.
The Earth element also governs the muscles, flesh tissue, and the ability to hold blood within the vessels.
🌿 In your yoga practice, backbends such as Wheel, Natarajasana, Cobra, Seal, Saddle Pose, Lunges, and Child’s Pose help support Earth Qi.
