And I have no place yet to transit to!π²π±π
β¦The building is getting demolished to make place for the Marktkwartier West neighborhood project.ποΈ
The past 3 years iβve turned this floor of the old Club Lite into my little sanctuary and itβs been everything i could wish for during the Pandamic; I had a big dance room of 500m2 that i tuned into my photostudio and had a bright loft of 100m2 where i lived and received my massage clients.(as I've gotten the green light from the owner to work from home)ππ»ββοΈππΎββοΈ
As you can see in the pictures, (because of the pandemic I havenβt traveled as much as i used to do, so Iβve become a serious plant daddy and i love the energy shift that my little green friends bring in the space. π΄βοΈπΏππͺ΄
I have extensive experience of (almost two decades) temporarily looking after places and transforming them into a safe haven. π
Since 2005, Iβve been living and working in a dozen different places and cities through a variety of anti-squat organizations.
ποΈπ€π»
Iβm completely self-sustainable and can transform and upgrade pretty much any kind of place, whether it's an old office space, school, a yoga studio, or a warehouse- into a place where i can live and work.
(I've installed a bathtub and boiler here for example and made a fully functioning makeshift kitchen) ππ»π¨π½οΈ
Ideally, Iβd like to move to another bright place preferably a loft-style of 100+m2 where I can work and live in Amsterdam. π‘βοΈβοΈβοΈ (As all my clients are here in Amsterdam, but also I'm -finally- getting both my car and motor license in Amsterdam this summer. -
A place that I can turn into a PhotoStudio, but also where I can receive my massage clients and every now and then hold a small gathering, such as a massage workshop or yin yoga class.
It can be anti-squat situation, but Iβm also open for Cawa/ Broedplaats/creative spaces.π¨πΈπ§πΌππ»ββοΈ
Iβll also consider more conventional housing arrangements
(e.g a rented apartment), as long as I can register and can receive my massage clients at home.
Preferably a bright loft style.
Depending upon the situation, the budget can go up to around 2K a month.π°
I can also live in a smaller apartment or temporary housesit and either put my stuff into storage or rent another location for my business (as a photo studio/ massage studio).
If anyone has any leads to help me manifest something to continue the journey of serving the community with awesome massages, let me know. ππ»ππ»
That can be getting me in contact for a house, a loft, a workspace, a studio, housesitting, a houseboat, an Earthship, a garden house, a farm, a collective, a place for storage etc.
As everything is all still up in the air at the moment i donβt have a fixed itinerary of how the coming weeks exactly will flow, but obviously, I can use helping hands on a moving day,
(Somewhere in the last week of June) iβll be happy to give massage credits or a photoshoot in return, and for people that will fill a leading role such as a driver, Iβll be happy to pay them either cash or pay via invoice.πͺπ»π°ππ»πΈ
*Iβll be giving my last massages in the coming few days, as Friday the 17th will be my last working day, before Iβll wrap it all up, if youβd like to receive a last session at this amazing place, reach out before my agenda is fully booked. ππ»β¨πβ
Just follow the LINKTREE to make a booking.

*In order to downsize, Iβll put lots of stuff on Marktplaats and Facebook marketplace, but will also hold a yard sale next weekend. Expect all kinds of stuff, from washing machine to trekking gear and bike and photography stuff. to my Whirlpool bathtub.π’
Panta Rhei, ( ΟάνΟΞ± αΏ₯Ξ΅αΏ ) ~Everything flows ~..The only thing that is constant, is changeβ¦
πππ»ββοΈ
TL;DR:
*Iβm evicted from my home in 2 weeksβ¦.
*Iβll need help with moving my stuff in the last week of June.
*In excahange, Iβll happily give massage or photoshoot credits.
*Iβm looking for leads and opportunities to find a new place to rest my head and continue my massage business β if you hear something you think could be of interest-please reach out!
***Voor degene die mij niet kennen, ik spreek gewoon vloeiend ABN, ik heb echter een groot internationaal netwerk, vandaar dat ik de post in het Engels heb gemaakt***

For those that do not know me...
Michalis Maroulakis....
A colorful cocktail: half Greek, half Dutch and 100% in love with the world.
I work as an International Alpine Tourleader, a photographer and a massage therapist. I love guiding people on journeys. Whether itβs high up in the Himalayas or on a massage table, i'll make sure you'll be safe and in good hands.
β
I withhold a strong passion for helping people find their balance and inner happiness through massage, meditation, reflection hiking and self healing.
My insatiable curiosity led me to many extreme places across the globe.
After studying documentary and press photography at the School of Arts in Utrecht (HKU) and the Royal Art Academy in The Hague (KABK) I've been traveling the world solo from a young age, in 2007 I turned my passion into a job, and became an International Alpine Tour Leader. AKA a mountainguide.
In the past 15 years, i've guided over 120 small groups through a great variety of countries and terrains, during trekkings, hikes, cycling expeditions, and high-altitude Alpine crossings.
For over a decade, on average I traveled to 12 to 15 countries annually.
(In those years, I was mainly April-October on the trails and had my stuff in storage, and November-March I looked after buildings)
During one of my many trips, I came across the Himalayas.
A cycling expedition brought me from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu, Nepal. There I fell in love with its colorful inhabitants, relaying:
βI came for the mountains and I returned for its peopleβ.
Many travels to Nepal followed, which is where I learned about singing bowls. Despite their considerable weight and being fragile, a singing bowl has always accompanied me on trips since.
When in 2015 Nepal was struck by a series of massive earthquakes, I wanted to help. I've decided to reach out to yoga studios in countries I was traveling through, in order to host Yin Yoga soundhealing classes on donation, and send the money to release funds in Nepal.
From there onwards, many colaborations with yogastudios, but also events, parties and festivals have followed.
And in the past 7 years I've given thousands of people massages and sound healings on events, festivals, yoga retreats, and since last year, at my studio loft in Amsterdam.
Since due to the pandemic guiding groups in faraway countries wasn't possible and there were no festivals or gatherings of any kind, -after I've gotten the green light of the owner of the building I live in currently- I've decided to take people on inner journeys at my loft instead. Since 2021 I've been massaging from home and as you can see on all platforms I only have 5/5 ratings from clients. (you can find hundreds online)
Currently, I feel that I'm on a mission to continue the journey of serving the community by creating a safe haven for them in their busy city lives, of course, every now and then I'd love to hit the trails again, but for now, my main focus will be to continue my journey of having a sacred place where I can receive massage clients (and can also get creative with my photography)as this is my chosen path for the moment.
